If you want to feel disrespected as a tourist, this is the place to go. The food itself was decent, but overall, this experience deserves a rating of -1.
We are tourists, not locals. We bring revenue to small businesses like this one, but honestly—it’s not worth it.
From the start: we don’t speak Greek, so we approached them in English. That’s fine—the manager’s English wasn’t perfect but understandable.
We arrived at 6 PM and ordered right away: a chicken pita and a standard chicken plate. Then we waited. And waited. Our food finally arrived after two hours. Meanwhile, locals who came in after us got served much earlier. When we pointed this out to the waiter, his only comment was that he would leave if something like that happened to him.
No one explained the delay. No one checked if our food was even warm or correct. Nothing.
When it came time to pay, we had to approach the cashier ourselves—after waiting 40 minutes and asking several times. Even then, nothing happened until we insisted.
In the end, the cashier wanted to charge us with the full price. Only after we told the manager what happened did he approve a...

The waiters, with the exception of one young man, were constantly slacking and buried in their phones. We had to try a lot to get their attention.

Then we sat down and realized that dietary restrictions instructions were noted down on the menu. How nice we thought! Unfortunately, the menu is misleading. My girlfriend has celiac's and ordered a sausage that was "gluten free", only to realize about an hour later that it was not (because of a specific belly pain and nausea she started experiencing; the symptoms are very specific). Extremely dangerous and irresponsible by them to have waiters and cooks that have no idea about dietary requirements, while at the same time pretending like they are trying to accommodate a client's allergy...
The food is nothing magnificent, nor terribly bad. It's grilled meat (some pieces were burnt) and you can find it...

Served with salad, fries, and pita bread. Haloumi, a cheese unique to Cyprus, made of goat and sheep milk (and sometimes cow milk) is from the "village" of Pafos, wrapped in individual packets and frozen prior to use. The cheese is usually fried or grilled. Haloumi cheese is designated EU PDO ...protected designation of origin...meaning the production, process, and development is from a specific geographical area, using local know-how producers, and ingredients from the region. Numerous local and European wines and spirits are available. Outdoor or indoor seating available. Compared to other restaurants in Paphos, the food is superb and reasonably priced. Do visit...
