Service is fantastic & like all American franchises that exist outside of America, they are slightly disappointing & not the same experience as you get in USA. Drinks were good (Frappe, Coffee, Home Made Lemonade) but shrinkflation is definitely noticeable as the cup sizes are half of what you get in the USA, but you're still paying full price. Food was ok but there's no passion in what they do & some items are a let down. The Ribs were great & a big portion but the fries were awful. For an American franchise, they should at least get their fries right. Cheeseburger was sad - no ketchup or sauce of any kind in the burger, so a dry burger. The meat patty was actually almost a meatball - they didn't flatten the patty or shape it for a burger. They offer many types of burger, what makes a Cheeseburger a CHEESE burger is lots of cheese - there was just one slice. Starters were Pulled Pork Tacos which were good & Shrimp Bao Buns which were disappointing. The coleslaw used in the bottom is very watery, so it soaks the bun quickly causing it to break. I've had bao buns all over the world & there's some thinking behind what's in them for the best flavour without bun destruction. Here they just shoved an American concept into an Asian dish. The only flavour offering is Sriracha based sauces which is lazy. This is like saying "just add chilli" to give it some sort of flavour. I...

Just had an absolutely brilliant meal at TGI Fridays in Kings Avenue Mall and I'm thoroughly impressed! 🍽️ The food quality here really stands out - they've got some fantastic seasonal delicacies that show real creativity in their menu planning. Each dish was expertly prepared and bursting with flavour.
What really made the experience special was the exceptional service 👏 The waiters were incredibly attentive throughout our visit, checking in regularly without being intrusive. The manager even stopped by our table to ensure everything was perfect - that level of personal attention really shows they care about their customers' experience.
The atmosphere is welcoming and the restaurant maintains that classic TGI Fridays vibe whilst feeling fresh and well-maintained. Perfect spot for both casual dining and special occasions 🎉
Would warmly recommend this location to anyone looking for quality American cuisine with excellent service. The seasonal offerings are definitely worth trying - they really elevate the standard menu!
Will definitely be returning soon! 🔄

Read moreFamily of 7. We were quite excited to dine at TGI Fridays. This was our first visit to this chain. On entering the restaurant I asked for a table outside for 7 (including a 3 year old & a 1 year old). "Wait there" she said. The visible part of the restaurant only had 4 tables occupied. I assumed that everyone else must be sitting outside, hence why she had to check for space. After a few minutes she came back & said "come". We followed her outside & there was only 1 table with diners on! At no point were we offered highchairs for the little ones. This review could now go on all day so I will try & keep it to the point. Food cold (all of it) probably sat on the counter waiting for one of the many staff to bring it to us. Although the burgers hadn't seen much heat as they were very pink/raw. Buns soggy. Service was not very attentive had to find the waitress for refills on the soft drinks (only ordered refills as they were included & the food was terrible so wanted some kind of monies worth I guess) All in all an expensive lesson. TGI Friday's need to send someone to dine here to see how the brand name is...
