We found this restaurant on Google Maps and, after seeing the good reviews, decided to go for dinner (4 people). Right from the start, I can say that the restaurant doesn’t deserve the high rating it has on Google. After being seated, we waited at least 25 minutes for a waiter to take our order, despite the restaurant not being full. Other tourists who arrived 10 minutes after us were served before us, which was frustrating!

The food was average at best, and some dishes were disappointing. I definitely do not recommend the calamari rings—they were soggy, slimy, and simply unappetizing. The fish, octopus, and shrimp were fine. However, the fries were drenched in oil, making them incredibly greasy and ruining their taste.

For starters, we ordered tahini, fish roe spread (twice), and pita bread. This was the one thing I can’t criticize—it was all good. The pork souvlaki that my friend ordered was below average: burnt on the outside, raw on the inside, and poorly seasoned.

On the plus side, after the meal, we were given complimentary dessert—a cake that tasted very good—and a traditional strong Cypriot spirit. However, another negative was the service after the meal. We wanted to pay, asked the waiter for the bill, and had to wait another 15-20 minutes to receive it.

We left the restaurant with...

Our favourite restaurant whilst visiting Cyprus! A small, beautiful, family run, authentic restaurant down a quiet road with spot on service and amazing food. Lovely little outdoor dining area aswell as indoor tables. We wanted to try a different restaurant every night during our stay but here we dined twice as it was so good! Every meal we tried was perfect especially the slow cooked lamb and their chips were to die for! Also the village red wine was delicious. Very friendly, helpful service from the owner and his son and they also have pet cats and kittens (which instantly made this my daughters favourite from the second we walked in). Very reasonably priced. 4 main meals plus a lot of wine and beer came to roughly €60. Highly recommend, this would be the first place we’d head to for dinner if we were to go...

Great food, great atmosphere, true family run business.. . Normal prices for fresh and delicious food... highly recommended... we came after 22 and they have provided perfect service even though it was just before closing of the kitchen...

Olives the best so far as a starter with grilled local bread with olive oil, staffed vegetables with the cooked rice and meat (local vegetables, (zucchini, tomato and paprika) plus for the meat lovers pork steak ) . Of course friendly cats begging for food :) of not that we were the last customers at midnight..I would love to stay there for another beer or coffee... overall perfect place for lunch dinner and real cyprus food experience with traditional music and very friendly service (father and...

Had my favourite Cypriot experience in this place. Family of 5, kids were happy (mostly due to the many cats/kittens at the restaurant) and adults happy. 2 of us went for the Meze. Wow! Phenomenal!! We are so ashamed tho to have had to take a doggy bag home! Defo want to go again, and highly recommend. The meze was I think 11 dishes? If not, more. If you don’t like cats, don’t go, as they are part of the restaurant. We loved the cats and kept the kids happy too. Lovely family run restaurant. Thank you for making our experience of a traditional Meze so enjoyable. Also, such an amazing price!
