Great place, today we have devided to try Doe Boy for the first time. Before I’ve made a reservation, was going through the reviews over here. Many people have been complaining about the size of the pizza as being too small and pricey.
-The pizzas we got has been the regular size you can get anywhere else for that I'm giving 5/5.
-Pizza was really delicious and you could really taste the difference of the ingredients while eating and after you have finished. When I was done, wasn't feeling full and heavy as you can feel from fat dropping pizzas covered by a lot of cheese, cheap salami or sausages. I wasn't even hungry, I think it's really well balanced ratio of the size itself and quality ingredients. 5/5
-I'm glad that we went there and definitely will come back soon, I don't consider price for the given pizzas high, since its made out of quality ingredients 5/5.
-Service was the cherry on the top, really nice, helpful and attentive 6/5.
-I like how the place looks like from the inside in general but there is still a bit of room for...
Read morePros: • Very fast service. The pizza was on my table under 10 minutes. • Friendly and English speaking staff. • Cozy basement premises. • Very tasty true Napolitan Pizza with mildly burned fluffy edges, true buffalo mozzarella, true italian pomodoro and fresh basil leaves.
Cons: • Pizza was pricey and small. I was still hungry after one whole pizza. (I blame the high quality ingredients) • The weight of the pizzas were not printed on the menu. • The air inside was humid and had unpleasant odor. • The menu was just printed on A4 paper. • The paper towel dispenser in the restroom was not working. • There was mold on the walls in the restroom.
Details: • The backgroud music was unfit (rap) and quite loud. Some chill italian music would fit much better. • The light bulbs had diferent color temperature disrupting potentional cozy atmosphere. • Water pressure from the tap was low.
Quality: 10/10 Quantity: 6/10 Price: 4/10 Staff: 10/10 Premises and cleanliness:...
Read moreFinally a typical Napoli pizza worth to be called "PIZZA". Menu still work in progress, but the pizza overall has surely exceeded my expectation here in Brno, after 10 LONG years without one worth to be called with such name.
This pizzeria is surely other (HIGHER) level, in comparison with all other "italian" pizza that are based in Brno (and nearby).
If you like typical Napoli pizza, and you like quite and comfy (and very cosy) place, this is surely a place to hang out!
Since the place is just "born", there is still no website, nor phone number. Table booking or pizza preparation, for take away, is via facebook message. If you will eat the pizza "on site" you might need to wait some time, but it is surely worth!
Overall, as per my standard, this pizzeria is surely a 5*. Hoping that quality will remain as is, and few minor implementations will be made, based on efficiency and...
