Light of India — Restaurant in okres Brno-město

Am liebsten würde ich keinen einzigen Stern vergeben!!!!! Wir hatten uns auf einen schönen Abend im Restaurant light of India gefreut, ABER was wir hier erlebt hatten war das reinste Desaster!!! Der Kellner total ungepflegt mit Schlappen an und langen dreckigen Fingernägeln, sowas von unhöflich und respektlos uns als Gästen gegenüber. Ganz zu schweigen den Kulturen und den Religionen, hier hängt zwischen den Toiletten Türen ein Bild einer Religionsstädte , die Tischdecken dreckig und riechen sehr nach modrigen etwas.... Dann wird hier das typisch indische „Roti“ das normal aus 100% ! Volkornmehl besteht ! Aus billigen Weißmehl gebracht ,dieses in Stücke geschnittenes Hartes etwas kann man doch nicht essen. Mix daal in der Karte mit 2 verschiedenen Linsen (schwarze Linsen und kidney Bohnen, bekommt man nur Einfache geschmacksneutrale Linsen. Das angesprochen das wir das nicht bestellt haben da wir eine weizenallergie haben, wurden wir sofort angepammt und übelst als dumm hingestellt. Es gibt halt nur die einen Linsen ? Dann sollte man dieses auch in der Karte richtig schreiben ! Zu dem Roti sagte er, es gibt keinen Unterschied zwischen Roti und Naan . Hallo !!! Ich komme aus Indien und werde wohl wissen was der Unterschied zwischen Roti und Naan ist !!!! Auf die bitte den Chef sprechen zu wollen würde er noch Forscher als eh schon jedoch vom Chef keine Spur. Der Service ist einfach nur lächerlich so wie das gesamte Flair in diesem Restaurant, das sich in keinem Fall Restaurant nennen dürfte!! Der Besitzer sollte sich im Klaren sein das der Kellner das Aushängeschild seines Geschäfts ist !!! Sorry aber das ist einfach nur traurig

Nechtěla bych ocenit jednu hvězdu !!!!! Těšili jsme se na pěkný večer v restauračním světle Indie, ale to, co jsme zde zažili, byla úplná katastrofa! Číšník naprosto neuspokojivý s pantoflemi a dlouhými špinavými nehty, tak hrubý a neuctivý nás jako hosté naproti. Nemluvě o tom, kultury a náboženství, tady visí mezi toalety dveře obraz náboženských měst, ubrusy špinavé a zápach velmi zatuchlé po něčem .... Tak tady je typické indické „roti“ normální 100%! Hello !!! jsem z Indie a pravděpodobně budou vědět, jaký je rozdíl mezi roti a naan Služba je prostě směšná, neboť v této restauraci, která by v žádném případě neměla zavolat do restaurace, je to celá atmosféra! Majitel by si měl být vědom toho, že číšník je postavou jeho podnikání. Je nám líto, ale...

Over the years my review of this restaurant gradually declined - several years ago, this was easily 5 stars. Then it went to 3-4 during covid. Today, I don't know what the management is doing, but with every personal change, the restaurant gets worse - food, service etc. Today, we went there and ordered food as usual (it was quite empty, just shorter queue for payment), and then waited almost 30 minutes, after which the server came and asked as again what we would like to eat. Also the food gets progressively worse, I think the management is just cheap and people keep quitting and the food and service keeps getting worse, in favour of bigger margins for the owner. Also there was one old lady with some dirty rag walking around the kitchen and the restaurant. Is she the owner? Did she just fire all the previous staff and was checking new staff? It was weird and disgusting, she kept touching everything (including food) with here bare hands and the dirty rag she...

We didn't dine we had delivery: We ordered a Vindaloo, Butter Chicken Curry, chicken soup and samosa. Vindaloo was proper spicy (Indian spicy) and the butter chicken was delicious the sauce was thick and it had bits of ginger, spices and herbs. Which is excellent. The chicken soup and Samosa were okay nothing special, I didn't like the salt seasoning on top of Samosa and the yogurt dip looked like something from a nuclear laboratory however the chili sauce was excellent! Overall curry is excellent but the entry dishes let them down. We will be back for a curry! I hope to give this restaurant a 5 next time (just need to order the right food) Re the price, yes its more expensive and it would be due to the fact that they uses fresh herbs and spices. You pay...
