Tyršův sad — Attraction in okres Brno-město

Great to visit with a toddler! There's a playground with lovely wooden animals to climb on, and a slide. And a small pen with lovely goats! The park is fenced around so I don't have to worry about my tot running under a car. For bigger kids, there are some tree swings, and an outdoor piano - often times there's even someone playing it who knows their stuff, so it's a pleasure to listen to. In the centre of the smallish park is a lawn with some large trees offering a welcome shade. There's a lovely flower bed along the length of the park, an arbour with benches and a lovely shade, and an elevated garden patch with perennials for the visually impaired. The park is close to the city center (just one stop from the Ceska hub if you take the trolleybus) and there's a bubble tea parlor just around the corner if you get thirsty ;-) (Or you can use the pump with drinking water that's at the playground). All in all, it's a pleasant place to be in...

A park and garden close to the city centre, it's the only one in the city with opening and closing hours. Usually locals bring their kids to profit from the playground and the goat pen.
