What a wonderful find in Brno! While in Brno, in we found this restaurant through Google Maps. We were not staying in the attached hotel.
When we first entered the restaurant we were impressed by the very modern style interior. The menu had some really interesting food choices, and some even better wine. We ate meatballs, venison schnitzel, and swordfish. Everything was really good. 2 different dry white Moravian wines were ordered and they were a really happy surprise. It had been recommended to us to try Moravian wine, and the recommendation was a good one.
The service was perfect on both of our visits. The waitress was professional, efficient, and unobtrusive. She was there whenever something was needed, and not there otherwise. She also spoke excellent English which made our visit much easier. (I believe her name was Klara).

They have a separate seasonal and weekly menu (which includes vegan and diet friendly options), off of which we ordered both soups (bone broth and garlic soup), and some entrées. I have to say the seasonal french dip baguette really took the cake, everything just worked together very well in terms of flavor. Everything was up to par, with some very interesting flavor pairings (like celery in broth) that overall worked together. The service was nice, we got bread with a (i think it was yuzu) spread for starters, which was refreshing. Read moreI ordered a medium rare steak, but what I eventually received was grey all the way through. One can only imagine what I would have gotten had I ordered a medium well. Why ask how I want my steak if they don't know the difference anyway? Despite this error though, the meal was very edible, and the plating was nice. After I had finished eating, they offered me dessert, and I asked to see the dessert menu. I had to wait ten minutes just to get the menu, and another ten to receive the dessert - A stale bun with a bit of ice cream on top. Maybe the bun was made yesterday? Also, I wonder why I had to wait so much even though there were almost no other guests... In summary, the meal itself was acceptable, but due to oddly long waiting times, overcooked meat, and stale dessert, I would instead recommend to go somewhere...
