Q-Burger Bar — Restaurant in okres Jablonec nad Nisou

The place to go if you're looking for amazing burgers in Jablonec.

The same owner also runs a café and pralines artisan bakery next door and you can even buy unique pralines as a fancy gift here. This also means the place is quite small and it's unlikely you will get a table without prior reservation during rush hours (i.e. on Saturday evening). However, as a last resort, you can always order and take the burgers away.

The menu is quite well made with enough interesting burger options to get you decision-fatigued. I could also immediately see they know what they're doing, because some of the ingredients are best quality and work great in burgers (Jack Daniels BBQ sauce). And so I went to get an unusual special of the week - the Pesto Burger.

Quite pricey for the location (~ €9 with no fries), but it took one bite to realise it's well worth all the money. Great bun, great cheese, high quality meat prepared exactly as ordered (medium rare in my case) and the combination with pesto was interesting and delicious.

Some cons could be a weird and tight seating arrangement - I sat shoulder to shoulder with a lady on a date at the next table, so a zero privacy for them and uncomfortable for me. The service can also easily get overwhelmed by praline gift purchases, because they have to hand-pick them and put them into boxes. This caused 10 minute-long queue at the entrance and quite a chaos.

But all that aside, this bar knows how to make THE burgers, so come and you won't be...

All in all a regular burger place. It is clean but a bit sterile. The burger place philosophy with the interior design is not easy to identify. Is it a burger diner, a burger restaurant? It is not cosy and does not have a destinguished vibe. Communication with staff was a bit difficult as the staff barely spoke english. Almost everybody ordered the burgers without a burger sauce and everybody got it with some sort of burger sauce. Other than the troublenwith communication the staff did a good job. Everybody had the burger menue that included fries and coleslaw. The coleslaw was barely touched by anybody. The portion of fries was was a bit small and the fries were a bit mealy, just in case you like the fries more crispy. 289 cz crowns was overpriced to my mind. All in all a normal experience but if the burger bar does not step up a bit, not many reasons to...

Hranolky dobré, mohly býti křupavější i trochu více soli. Sůl byla spíše už o preferenci, úroveň soli nebyla špatná, ale ta křupavost byla už trochu k zamyšlení. Burger samotný, tak maso nabízejí pouze well done, medium nebo rare, což je škoda, protože za mě zrovna burger chutná nejlépe medium-rare. Dejme tomu, po objednání medium mi ovšem přišel medium-well, tak škoda, ale pořád dobrý. Propečení měla přítelkyně u speciálu perfektní medium. Maso bylo výborně dochucené, já měl Q-burger a přítelkyně nějaký speciál s pestem. Burger s pestem i po přihlédnutí na to, že pesto je samozřejmě z velké části z oleje, tak byl mastný příliš. Za mě poměr oleje a bylinek v pestu má být si myslím trochu více bylinek nebo méně oleje. Toppings k Q burgeru bylo famózní, tady chápu, proč burger nese název podniku. Tam nemůžu vytknout absolutně nic. Ten burger má naprosto všechno, čerstvost, správnou úroveň soli, má v sobě i křupavou složku v podobě osmahlé cibulky. Naprosto fantastický! Bulky burgerový oproti jiným skvělým burgrárnám je tady podle mě největší mínus. Umím si představit bulky k takovým dobrým burgerům trochu luxusnější. Ať už trochu více másla nebo nějaké bylinky či cokoliv, co by housky trochu zvedlo.

Obsluha byla perfektní. Člověk se tu cítí nesmírně vítán, servírka zvládala konverzaci profesionálně, mile, vstřícně a pohotově. Vše bylo doneseno až neuvěřitelně rychle a i při menší naší zmatenosti se hned ptali, jestli nepotřebujeme s něčím poradit. Za mě dokonalý přístup, jaký bych dnes od obsluhy chtěl mít.

Všudy kolem pořád se tu bavíme o nadstandardně dobrým podniku a moje kritika je spíše o rozlišení výborných burgráren od těch naprosto excelentních. Nic z toho, co píšu není na tak špatný úrovni, aby se sem neměl někdo kvůli tomu vydat. Za mě se jedná pořád o jídlo s hodnocením 8,8/10 a obsluha hodnocení vytáhla na 5*. Mám to sem malinko zajížďku, tak při dalších 2-3 návštěvách uvidím, zdali to bude místo, kam se budu vracet měsíčně nebo jenom když zrovna v průběhu roku budu mít cestu kolem, ale když už kolem pojedu, tak rozhodně stojí za to se zastavit....
