Kozlovna u Plechandy — Restaurant in okres Písek

Decent food, the beer they served was not so good... totally flat no carbonation after returning it we got a beer with a total of 5 bubbles... the other beer was again totally dead. Kind of weird for a beer pub that advertises their beer is coming directly from a tank (not kegs) making for a better taste. One would expect the person behind the bar to be able to poor a decent beer. Unfortunately no such luck here. Add to that having to ask several times for the bill giving up and going to the bar where we were directed back to our seats to wait... after making clear that we either get the bill now or never we finally were able to pay.

Overall a pretty bad experience for something that based on the food and their selection of beers could be a pretty good place.

I went to this place last week, I must say the atmosphere is nice and from the riverbank looking in it was very cosy and inviting. Unfortunately I was very very disappointed in the food, one of the worst places I have been in a long time. We order a burger which I could not finish, presentation looked amazing but was not eatable with a side order of coleslaw which was just plan tasting and more like pickled cabbage and steak that was in a onion - wine sauce but because it was cooked too long it was bitter, again presentation was nice but not eatable! Definitely would recommend this place ONLY for...

Guys... this is a jewel of a place... how on earth we found this amazing culinary experience in a small town with 31 000 people... a place i never heard of.. a restaurant that beat capital cities... absolutely amazing. Was our 2nd time here. 2 out of 2 10000 stars...

We took the tasting menu and just wow... everything amazing. The maracuja desert... house specialty.. no joke, best desert of my life.. and i travel with work all over the world for 13 years now.. qualified to say this..
