Cafe in Exile — Restaurant in Prague

I wasn't expecting anything special in this part of the city, but I was very pleasently surprised with the fantastic service at this café. Great brunch offering until 15:00, I went for scambled eggs with ruccola salad and fresh bread + home made Iced tea. I did not regret the choice. Eggs were well done with parmesan cheese on top (great stuff), the bread was absolutely phenomenal, I wonder if they bake it by themselves. Paired with well spreadable butter, it was just perfect. Kudos also for the Iced tea, which was just right - not too sweet and not to sour from the lemon. Card payment possible. All in all - a perfect breakfast.

Really nice cafe away from the center area. Perfect spot for a quick brunch if you are passing by Prague and don't want to drive to deep into the city. On weekends brunch menu is served all day with many good options to choose from. Perfect poached eggs with option to add more. Excellent coffee, alternative and lactose free milk available. Kavárna, co si hraje na hipsterskou, ale něco málo jí k ní chybí (a to nejsem fandou hipsterů ani omylem). K neuvěřitelně špatný akustice, způsobený hučící lednicí, spotify free! účtem (tudíž hraje dobrá muzika, ale občas skočí reklama, lol), dlaždicemi po celé prostoře, velkými okny a nepříliš rozděleným stropem se do směsice hluků přidává nepříliš milá chvátající servírka (někdo by možná rád napsal baristka), naprosto průměrné espresso značky Illy a "domácí" limonáda z nějakého sirupu, hotová za 20 vteřin jeho slitím s vodou a kostkami ledu. Jel jsem sem kvůli práci na notebooku, ne gastrozážitku, ale přesto už se mi sem nechce vkročit, navíc vzhledem k faktu, že to ceny nejsou nějak zvlášť příznivé a extra shot, nabízený naprosto běžně za pětku, zde stojí pětky dvě a podobně. Netestoval jsem všechno, ale asi už ani nechci. PS: kdybych nechtěl pomoci ve zlepšení, ani to sem nepíšu...

Na závěr několik málo pozitiv - papírové brčko a poměrně milá dekorace. Je ale na čem ještě zapracovat...S...
