L'estragon — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

We were lucky to get a table without a reservation. The restaurant is small, cozy, and has a chic retro vibe.

The service was excellent. The staff member taking our order was energetic, knowledgeable about what was on our plate and in our glass, and very attentive. When we received the Danish menu, I was trying to figure it out with the help of my boyfriend and his family (they are danish). He took noticed and kindly offered me an English menu. It was a thoughtful gesture, and it is was nice to see how much I had understood by cross referencing with the english version.

He also made sure we never had to ask for refills, always noticing when we were out of something.

Absolutely a gem in Århus! We booked a table with a short notice, we arrived in one of the cosiest small restaurant ever. The place has its own style and character-obviously French inspired-.

The waiters who helped us were two guys and they were absolutely extraordinary! So passionate, so welcoming, so attentive, so nice and confident about how to introduce the menu and explain the dishes that they presented to our table.

We ordered a delicious ceviche and a pan-fried fish that were absolutely delicious to taste and so wonderful to see! Wine choice good.

I am speechless, really.Thank you so much L'estragon, we will definitely come back. I celebrated my 30th birthday with this dinner and it couldn't have been better. We booked a table on a sunday evening, chef's choice menu with wine pairings and wow! My personal favorite was the fish soup with fennel, but every dish was a little paradise on its own. The wine choices were also perfect. Id also like to say thank you for the amazing atmosphere, very cozy place, feels like home and this is mostly thanks to the the staff who are so kind and friendly.
