Pho C&P — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

I visited here with a friend having heard good reviews about their food. When we arrived it took 20 minutes for someone to take our order even though I grabbed the attention of the waiter, not once but twice.

After sitting patiently for 30 minutes to no avail I grabbed the attention of the waiter once again to ask where our food was and when it would be ready. He barely understood a word I said and looked at me dumbfounded. I spoke slower and more patiently, he said it wouldn’t be long.

After 1 hour and 30 minutes and a total of six other tables who had received their food before us paid and left. I was, as you can imagine, very distraught, hungry and riled.

I went inside and demanded to know where the food was; I was given no apology or at least some kind of discount/free drink until I asked for it. And even then, the staff were unhelpful and reluctant to give me a free beer after waiting so long.

The food was good but the customer service was appalling. Safe to say I’ll never return here.

I think it’d be quicker to actually fly to Vietnam and get some food than wait for it at this restaurant.

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the beginning, the waitress was unprofessional and then showed a discriminatory attitude toward us due to us not understanding her. She spoke in a way that was unclear, which made communication harder as we did not catch some words. On top of that, we had to wait far too long (approximately 20 minutes) just to place our order (she knew we wanted to order as I went to ask her at the front desk and she sent me back to the table assuring me she will come to take the order), while other guests who arrived after us were served immediately. It was clear that we were being treated differently, and it completely ruined our visit, so we decided to just go away. Good food but I had the most AWFUL experience with the staff. We were not able to eat everything there (as the portions are very big 👍) so I kindly asked them to pack the leftovers "to go", and ordered something else in addition. When I came back in 20 minutes to pick up the leftovers and the other order, they told me that they thought I will put the leftovers in a box, by myself, and take them home 🤨 and that they throw them away, since I left them on the table. I must mention that I stayed there for another 5-10 minutes long, and still nobody came to handle me a box, to put everything, or even to ask something.
