This restaurant exploits potential employees

Awareness post: This is kazi Nuhas. I am new in Denmark as well Aarhus. Last 2 weeks ago I saw a post from this restaurant. They are looking for employee. I applied there and contact with them. November 13 I went to the resturant and talk with the owner and he said you can work today for trail , if your work is perfect then I will hire you. Then I was agreed and started working from 1.20 pm to 12 am . I mean 10 hours 40 minutes for trial. After finish work owner told you I will hire you and make a contract for me. Then I return my place. After 2 days he called me and gave me a schedule for next day. After the day I went there and ask the owner about my salary and contact. He replied you will get 100 dk per hour but not cleared about contract paper. I again asked when I get my contact. He didn't replied . Then I ask about my trial period . He told me he doesn't pay anything for 10 hours 40 minutes . He can't clear about my contact just told me work work. Then I come out the resturant. After few minutes owner called me and said don't come please. That is the end. Please be careful who have planing...

Terrible experience – Rude and threatening staff!

We visited Zaffran in Aarhus expecting a pleasant dining experience, but the staff's behavior left us shocked and disappointed. One of the female servers was extremely rude to us simply for asking the price of a medium Coke. Later, when we politely enquired about the name of a lemon drink listed in Danish (which we couldn’t understand), she returned with another lady server and started threatening us for absolutely no reason.

Such behavior is completely unacceptable in any restaurant. We had paid for the buffet but could not even finish our meal in peace due to this unnecessary commotion and hostility. Instead of being helpful or courteous, the staff made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome.

We will never return to this place and strongly advise others to avoid it if you value respectful service. Aarhus has many better restaurants with far more professional and polite staff – spend your money...
