If you’re looking for reasonably priced, authentic Danish food with a free car park nearby, I vote you go here!
☑️ Absolutely beautiful food served here at prices which are surprisingly cheap for the service, decor, presentation and such. We ordered the salmon and asparagus smørrebrød, and the smoked eel and scrambled egg one too! They were incredible, and as other reviews say, the serving sizes are generous. Our server spoke wonderful English which made the process of ordering far easier! The menu was bilingual too, so no Google translate was needed.
It is quite a small restaurant, so I would recommend booking should you want to attend during peak dinner times or on a weekend. Despite it being quite cosy, it wasn’t particularly loud inside, so it’s not overwhelming for neurodivergent people or those with a hearing aid.
❎ I was surprised by the 25% service charge added, and that tap water seemed to be €4. This did bump our bill up at the end. I would say that the food was worth it, however. Lastly, the toilets are down a small spiral staircase, so this place is not...
Read moreHave been to the place several time for both family and business dinner. Most of the experiences was good. I give only 1 star today is because of the following reasons: Tried to call several times today to book the table but no one picked it up. We waited for almost 50 minutes for getting our main course after the starters. The main courses level are much worse than usual. The stegt flæsk is not crispy at all, not even for the skin. It sticks to my teeth once I bite it, which is really annoying. Schnitzel is really weird. Some parts tastes super salty and some parts are just bland. Last but not the least, we were not asked about our experiences during our stay at all. And this is why I am writing here to give you a one star. The starters were good actually. But the service this time is one of the worst dining experiences I have...
Read moreNice restaurant with good atmosphere and ambiance, and reasonably good food. Salmon dish was a bit bland, missing some ingredients for truly pallette satisfying taste, including with the side sauce. The fried pork, a Danish national dish (?), was very salty and hard, especially the fatty skin. My appetizer, shrimp salad, was good with ample (small) shrimps, vegetables, and sauce. It apparently is a popular local restaurant, with an insufficient number of attendants as it was a bit difficult to gain attention to request our needs along the way. The place was decorated well for...
