Ris Ras Filliongongong — Restaurant in Aarhus Municipality

One of the most atmosphericly cozy bars in the whole of the city. They've got their own lager as well that they sell for the exceedingly reasonable price of 25 dkk pr bottle; a drink which i must recommend anybody planning on visiting this exquisite establishment. It is my personally preferred watering hole, the only downside being how comparatively small the interiors are, resulting in the place usually being packed to the brim. Luckily they've got heating lamps allowing for a chill streetside drink, which is passable in the off-seasons but I'd say preferable during spring/summer/autumn, since Mejlgade (the street on which the bar is located, isn't usually very prone to traffic of the automobile variety, making noise levels negligible. Highly recommend anybody go visit, especially around lunch since you're usually able to find a nice spot inside if you plan on going for a drink during the winter months. Staff are really friendly and always up for a chat. Keep in mind that they haven't got a seperate smoking section due to limited size of the interiors, so if carcinogenic fumes bother you, I'd probably go 150 meters down the street "Graven" just opposite the bar and have a drink a Le Coque instead, since they've got a seperate section...

One of the few places left where you can smoke inside. This is a good beer bar. The crowd is young university types, the selection of beers is good, and then they let you smoke inside. They have games, and a very relaxed atmosphere. This is a small place, and there is always many people here,. So if you are in a big group, expect there not to be room for you. But its worth the try...

Jeg havde fornøjelsen af at besøge Ris Ras, den hyggelige lille bar på hjørnet af Mejlgade, og blev straks betaget af den varme atmosfære. Men hvad der virkelig gjorde aftenen mindeværdig, var bartenderen Tais, som var i en klasse for sig.

Tais udstråler en professionel, men alligevel afslappet attitude, der får gæsterne til at føle sig hjemme med det samme. Hans dygtighed bag baren er imponerende – hver drink, han serverer, er et lille kunstværk i sig selv. Det er tydeligt, at Tais har en passion for sit håndværk, hvilket skinner igennem i hans detaljerede viden om cocktails og hans evne til at tilpasse dem til gæstens smag.

Ikke nok med det, så formår Tais også at skabe en særlig atmosfære med sin personlige tilgang og varme karisma. Han er opmærksom uden at være påtrængende og sørger for, at alle føler sig set og velkomne. Tais’ engagement i sit arbejde gør Ris Ras til et sted, man har lyst til at vende tilbage til igen og igen.

Ris Ras er allerede en perle i Mejlgade, men med Tais bag baren når stedet nye højder. Hvis du leder efter en unik baroplevelse med fantastisk service, så er Tais på Ris Ras...
