We went to this restaurant based on the reviews but I was very disappointed. We had the set menu / all you can eat. You could see the rolls were pre-made and just cut / garnished on site. The rice was compact and poor quality. The rolls were over engineered flavour wise. I do not think the fish was properly handled as the texture was mushy and did not taste fresh. I had a bad stomach ache afterwards. The scallop sashimi was fine. The service was pleasant and the actual restaurant itself was nice. Based on the food alone I would recommend to avoid.

Ich bin durch die @copenhagenfoodguide Instagram-Seite auf dieses charmante Restaurant aufmerksam geworden. Leider hatten wir keine Reservierung und da das Lokal sehr klein und gut besucht ist, standen nur noch Plätze draußen an der Straße zur Verfügung. Im September war es draußen etwas kühl, was sich auch auf das Ambiente auswirkte – ein kleiner Abzug, den wir allerdings selbst verschuldet haben, weil wir nicht reserviert haben. Dennoch haben wir uns entschieden, draußen zu bleiben und konnten uns dank der bereitgestellten Decken warmhalten. Wir entschieden uns für das All-you-can-eat-Maki-Menü, und bereits die inkludierte Vorspeise – frittierte Garnelen und Edamame – war äußerst lecker und frisch. Besonders begeistert waren wir jedoch von den verschiedenen Maki-Kreationen, die der Koch für uns zubereitet hat. Man spürte die Liebe zum Detail und die Leidenschaft, die in die Gerichte einflossen. Die Kombinationen waren außergewöhnlich und wir genossen die besten Maki-Kreationen, die wir je probiert haben. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis war überzeugend – hätten wir diese Gerichte in einem Sternerestaurant erlebt, hätten wir es ebenfalls geglaubt. Das Personal, bestehend aus zwei sehr freundlichen und herzlichen Personen, trug zusätzlich zum positiven Gesamteindruck bei. Ich kann jedem nur empfehlen, dieses Restaurant zu besuchen. Beim nächsten Mal werde ich definitiv reservieren und mir diese köstlichen Kreationen nicht entgehen lassen! ☺️

Bar’sushi laver rigtig god kvalitets sushi, og har fundet på flere nye ruller, som jeg kun har set hos dem. Hvilket er spændende at prøve. Jeg synes restauranten var meget pæn, men jeg var overrasket over hvor lille den var. Der var nemlig kun plads til 6 borde. De kører et nyt koncept, som jeg kun har set hos dem indtil videre. Jeg synes ikke helt deres ad libitum menu fungerede som jeg havde håbet. Man har nemlig bordet i 2 timer, hvor du kan spise så meget du kan. Det er tjeneren som bestemmer hvornår du får næste servering, og vi synes simpelthen at der gik for længe mellem hver servering. Det resulterede i at vi blev informerede om at vi kun havde 15 minutter tilbage, da vi sad med hvor fjerde servering af sushi. Første servering bestod af edamammebønner, 2 små tacos og tempura rejer. Anden servering bestod af 30 stk sushi. Tredje servering bestod af 12 stk. fjerde servering bestod af 10 stk. I alt fik vi kun 52 stk sushi og lidt starters for 700kr Og selvom at vi kunne spise mere, så var der altså ikke mere tid. Du skal også være forberedt på at du ikke har meget stor påvirkning i hvad i får serveret, så du kan meget nemt ende med at sidde med flere ruller som du ikke kan lide. Jeg fik fx en med en trøffel mayo på, som altså ikke var særlig god. Det var meget sjovt at prøve, men jeg vælger nok bare et normalt ad libitum sted næste gang jeg skal have sushi.

The sushi and cocktails were excellent. However their ‘all you can eat’ concept is a bit deceiving. We were expecting to be able to choose any sushi for a fixed price - which is what that concept stands for everywhere else in Copenhagen. Instead, it’s more like chef’s choice until you drop. Which is fine and still delicious - but I think they should just call it that, you pay 269 kr and the chef will choose all the rolls for you. The whole point of all you can eat is the fun of choosing anything and that’s precisely what you don’t get at this place. So that was a little disappointing, and the waitress really struggled with explaining that. Then we were told we can have some choice after the chef is done making their selection for us, but when we tried ordering some sashimi, it wasn’t actually included in the price. A weird and confusing experience in this regard, but the food...

I’m writing this in English, so expats will understand as well! I made my order via Wolt and not only did they forget to deliver 2x salmon sashimi, the worker on the other end of the line kept on insisting that I didn’t make any orders with them… after some time, they find me in their system and instead of walking 5 min to my apartment with the sashimi, their chef suggests either for me to pick it up myself or wait for their manager to call me…. I could not pick it up myself, as I had a barely 3 months old baby sleeping on me and I could not leave…so I opted for waiting for the manager’s call… (not sure how a cal from the manager would help the situation…., but I waited)…. It’s 21:38 and still no call…. I’ve eaten there twice before and both times I was disappointed with the service… this third time will be my last. Bar’Sushi, I will be expecting to get my refund asap! You...
