Great place, you don't have to be young and hip to come here (although the place is! ) all you need to be is a lover of excellent craft beer.

Staff were welcoming and helpful, which is really needed when you are faced with 40 beers on tap and a desire to taste them all. Narrowing down your choice to the 1st one to try is challenging.

Didn't visit Fri/Sat, when I'm sure it gets busy. On a Thursday night it was a mellow place to be with music at a volume that still allowed you to hear your friends speak. (That might be were the age thing comes in)

Recommend that you check on their website before visiting as the beer list can be sometimes be dominated by a friends brews like Brewdog. Which does great beer but if you are travelling from a part of the UK that is fortunate enough to have a Brewdog pub..... having traveled to Copenhagen you might want something different. Check regularly though as they have a fairly...

What a welcoming place! The layout is fantastic, with various nooks separating and spacing out the customers just enough to make it a communal setting but with every group having their own personal space.

The friendly staff immediately greeted us with smiles and a sly offer for a mystery flight. They wouldn't tell us up front what beers were in the flight but recommended we try it nonetheless. The wife was skeptical about ordering without knowing what to expect, while I was all in and quickly ordered mystery flights for both of us.

We both loved what they served. It was amazing, with a broad range of styles placed in perfect tasting order, and a detailed explanation about each beer from the knowledgeable staff.

If you even kinda-maybe-sorta like beer and are in Copenhagen, you definitely gotta check...

Maybe I happened there on a wrong day or hour but it seems that all the bars where they have some bigger brewery behind them only thing that matters is the beers they have on tap.

Service was not so good and it took quite some while even for somebody to aknowledge that I was there (and the first one was someone who was doing some maintanance...).

I got a 13 in a dozen sour here and of course it wasn't bad, but the while experience could have been way better if the service would've been at least on some level other than "well, here are the beers what you want?"

It seems like it's a recurring theme on my Copenhagen trip. All the beer bars I was recommended have had subpar service (other than BRUS's bottle shop, but there the bar was also quite bad...

A must visit for any beer enthusiast finding themselves in the Copenhagen area. Around 40 taps with mostly Mikkellers own brews but also a wide variety of guest brews. Prices are a bit steep but you get what you pay for, the quality of the beers are amazing. If they have their Riesling People on tap when you visit give it try! There's an outside seating area across the street for those warmer days and it can get a bit crowded inside so have that in mind if you're a larger group. They serve some small snacks as well. Last I was there it was some jerky and small sausages made at Warpigs, pretty much the perfect sides for a cold beer.

Not sure how you could ask for a better bar - the interior is beautiful with its teal color scheme, they have 40 incredible beers on tap at all time, the snacks are delicious and the bartenders are friendly. Plus there are a bunch of nooks in which to hang out and drink not only within the bar but also the great outdoor picnic table scene that’s available in the summer across the street. Start with the house flight, think about what you’d like to be drinking for a while and then settle into this experience. If you ever get extra hungry after a few beers, Stefanos nearby has great pizzas. Cheers!
