CCtaste — Restaurant in Copenhagen Municipality

Waited very long for our food. Had to return our tofu dish because the tofu was too old/sour. Waiter asked if I spoke Chinese. I said yes. She asked if I've ever had that dish before. I told her I grew up eating Chinese food including tofu so I know how it's supposed to taste like and when it's gone bad. She then told me all tofu in Denmark is like this as if she thinks I'm not from here. But in fact i was born and grew up in Denmark and sour/bad tofu is not the standard. She then said that the chefs tasted it and said nothing was wrong with the dish. If they just apologized for the mistake, I think I would feel much better about it as a customer. They made me feel like I'm complaining about something I wasn't supposed to. When they came over with the bill, they didn't put the dish on and commented that they indeed didn't because we think the dish was not good. I would have rejected paying for it anyway. We had two other dishes that were okay and...

The food at the restaurant was acceptable nothing exceptional, but certainly not bad either. The service was good, with attentive and accommodating staff.

I liked the atmosphere deserves, since it was both cozy and unpretentious, creating a relaxed setting for the meal. You felt comfortable and welcome throughout the visit.

The price level was fair and reasonable for what you received.

It should be noted, though, that the dining experience cannot be described as world-class Chinese cuisine. But as a cozy and affordable place for an informal evening out, the restaurant works...

The place was empty when we came in and that is a shame.

The main dishes are delicious and the portions are huge! The menu is a sad mess and needs to be redone but I will still be coming back! The service in English was a bit halted but they did everything they could to help.

Ironically the dumplings tasted like store bought ones. Thick dough and the stuffing separated and not flavorfull.

I'll try other ones next time though so they were not so bad:)
