We visited the restaurant as part of CPH dining week 2025 February. The menu looked great, and the place had high ratings, but the experience we had was utterly disappointing. As part of priciest package for the dining week of 550 dkk per person, our surprise was to see we were served one oyster per person, one shrimp and even one tiny pancake was cut into two pieces and served for two. Starters followed with the soup and fish of mediocre taste and flaviour that we did not expect from a restaurant of such calibre. Then, silent shock with the desert when expectations for a Pavlova cake came in form and shape of crumbles from one piece and served to two. Another sad note was the smell in the restaurant and cold temperature as it would seem they are saving on heating to the expense of customers in having an enjoyable experience. It took some time to decide whether to write the review but then just wanted to share the experience with others who might be intrigued with the menu and high prices but might get a different take so be aware to keep your expectations at bay. On a different note, we had amazing food at restaurants that served for packages of 300 dkk per person, and we even got for starters two oysters per person in addition to full-size menu dishes.

We dined at this restaurant a couple of days ago as a group of four. Overall, the food was good, fresh and of decent quality. Portions were generous, which we appreciated. However, considering the high prices, we expected the food quality and overall experience to be excellent. Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff was not particularly polite or welcoming, and there was no effort to explain the origin or selection of the seafood, which would have enhanced the experience. The atmosphere felt impersonal and somewhat cold. The space itself is quite small and feels cramped, especially when the restaurant is full. The most disappointing part was being asked to leave after exactly two hours. While I acknowledge that the reservation mentions a two-hour limit, it still felt rushed and uncomfortable. Dining, especially when enjoying seafood with good company, should not feel like a race against the clock. This significantly impacted our overall experience.

H3 Fiskerestaurant is a hidden gem in Copenhagen if you're a fan of fresh, flavorful seafood served in a relaxed, inviting atmosphere. The quality of the ingredients is outstanding — everything we ordered was expertly prepared, portioned well, and beautifully presented. The staff was warm, attentive, and happy to offer recommendations, making the whole experience feel personal and authentic. From the fish and chips to fried pineapple dessert, every bite was a highlight. It’s clear that this restaurant takes pride in both its food and service. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, H3 is absolutely worth a stop. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

We travelled specifically to this area of Copenhagen for this restaurant and decided not to even give it a try after being 'welcome' by a rude member of staff. Instead of 'hello' we were only told 'I cannot have the trolley in here', accompanied by the most uninviting facial expression. The trolley the gentleman was referring to is our baby's stroller, it's a compact travel one and by no means we were planning to do a stroll around the restaurant with it. We would have happily folded it and put it away if we would have even been given the chance to step properly into the restaurant. What a shame. As other reviews have pointed out, a most inappropriate way to welcome customers. The food may be awesome but hey, I guess we won't find out on...
