What a total train crash of a meal. Service was very slow. One lady occasionally popped in from the kitchen. There was only one other table occupied during our Saturday evening visit. Onion bhaji was very heavy and naan bread had clearly never seen a tandoor. An unpleasant, thick doughy texture more akin to a cheap pizza than a naan. There was plenty of meat, but the mains tasted nothing like we've had anywhere else before. A third of my rice was glooped together in a stodgy ball. I had to ask that one of the staff's children, who has been left in the restaurant, turn down the volume of the kiddies TV show, as it was drowning everything else out.
