Eventhough my friends said they were missing their fries and the ayran in the dönerkebab menu, I must admit I'm a huge fan already!! -Love the crispy warm pide-bread with the nigella/sesame seeds. -Love tge Fritz drinks in general!! -Love the fresh greens and the triple dressing!! -The meat on it's own doesn't really have a flavour tbh BUT 😀 the coming together of all the elements of this huge kebab wrapped up and served up like a shiny tinfoil bouquet of flowers is amazinnggg!!!
Even the Fritz-tables are too small for consuming this humongously sized kebab!!
-and maybe this is the reason why all the tall guys and not very many females come here. The size is just plain huge!!! You gotta be hungry when you seat yourself at this tiny narrow boat of a table. The outdoor seating area is a different thing altogether at this tiny kebab place, since the moment you get your kebab you need to seat yourself as eating this mother of kebab is serious business. Thus this is where Copenhageners for once feel like they are international and approachable, since they bravely ask whether they can sit at your table!! This is a huge thing I believe 😀
Thanks for this.
-but this is definitely my new favourite kebab since it's both tasty and different from other kebabs in the...
Read moreIt was good to try something different than what you usually get in the area. That said, I think there's room for improvements. I guess the point is that this is not a Copenhagen döner, but a Berlin döner, and how authentic that is, I just wouldn't be able to tell.
The service was great, people were chilling outside, and the experience i had in and around the shop was great overall.
The Berlin Döner is good, but I didn't think it was great. The meat is alright but lacks seasoning, including garlic. The taste was very mild. Almost like it was aimed at kids. The greens were what you'd expect. Nothing fancy. The sauces were good but mild. I tried the garlic and the chili sauces. The garlic sauce had dill in it which threw me off a bit. It might just be me, but I didn't find it a good match. The chilli sauce was very mild. Almost like ketchup. The bread tasted good, but mine was bit too greasy and crumbly. I felt stuffed when I was done, and didn't regret it.
I recommend it. It is definitely way above the average in the area. The...
Read morePreviously only 2 stars, but this place aims to please. That deserves a higher rating and explanation… Went here to find out what the hype was about, and ended up disappointed. The bread was great, the salad was fresh, and the dressing interesting… but the meat was underwhelming, almost as if it was missing. I’m a meat lover… After having a talk with the owner (not 100% sure) regarding my review, I was impressed with the interest in my experience and what I felt should have been different. It’s not often that a customer’s opinion seems to be so important, and this place is determined to perfect their product for your enjoyment, not just profit. I would suggest that you state your preference when you order, and maybe you’ll avoid being...
