Mr.Fish Sushi Ribe — Restaurant in Esbjerg Municipality

My visit to Mr. Fish Sushi Ribe was an absolute nightmare, and I can confidently say that this restaurant deserves no more than one out of five stars. From long waiting times to deceptive pricing practices, this place reeked of dishonesty and left me feeling completely ripped off.

First and foremost, the service was abysmal. We were made to wait for what felt like an eternity . Not only were they slow and inattentive, but they failed to inform us about their "All you can eat" offer. Instead, they conveniently displayed only the menu prices outside, leading us to believe that those were the standard rates. It was a deliberate ploy to deceive customers and maximize their profits.

To add insult to injury, when the bill finally arrived, we were shocked to discover that we had been charged a whopping €80 for a single portion of sushi. This blatant exploitation was beyond unacceptable. The lack of transparency in their pricing structure and their failure to inform us about the actual cost of the meal was an outright scam.

Furthermore, the quality of the food itself was far from satisfactory. The sushi lacked freshness, and the overall presentation was lackluster. It was evident that corners were cut in terms of ingredient selection and preparation. For the exorbitant price we paid, we expected a culinary experience that was at least decent, but instead, we were served subpar sushi that left a lot to be desired.

We came to Ribe as tourist and stayed for 5 nights. A friend of mine gave us the recommendation of Mr. Fish Sushi. She said the price is not so expensive (compare with other sushi restaurant in Denmark, also in The Netherlands) and tastes good.

So, we curious and proof it. We made reservation. A bit confusing in the begining with how to order it. But one of the workers explained it quicky. The service of Sushi not as quick as other Sushi Restaurants. We wait a bit longer every batch order.

I would even give 0 stars if that was possible. The sushi rice wasn't good. The surimi was a cold paste like substance instead of surimi sticks. The sushi was just bad quality and the fish wasn't tastefull. Also the edamame weren't properly made, which is very peculiar because they are so easy to make.

ETA: wow your comment shows just how bad your service is. Ofcourse I was your guest and this is my honest review. I have been to a lot of sushi places, not that it even matters. My experience eating at your place was that it wasn't worth the money and...
