Ridiculously expensive, rude staff, gyros with almost no meat.
We ordered two gyros lunch meals. The one with pork meat was 109kr and the lamb one was 139kr. As this is a restaurant and the price of a meat wrap here is 5-6 times that of a wrap from the good local kebab places, we expected nice quality and a generous amount of meat.
The gyros taste was bland. Devoid of salt and any flavor. The only dominant flavor was the canned tomato paste they filled the gyros with. The amount of meat was what really put us off. There was basically no meat to be found. Four ultra thin slices, the size of a finger nail where found in the bottom of my pork gyros and in the lamb gyros there were even less even though we spent 30kr extra for the “upgrade”.
This is ridiculous. The waitress had a bad attitude and we felt like she didn’t want us there.
To top it all off they also charged us 30kr for tap water.
Avoid this place at all costs. There are lots of great homemade meat wraps to be found in Copenhagen which are filled with meat and only cost 35kr.
Will never...
Read moreThe food you see in the photos, which was to be shared by 2 people, is worth almost 900 dkk (without the drinks). The food was OKish, nothing amazing, but the 1 star I am giving is for the rip-off business model this restaurant is practicing. The restaurant sold some vouchers for an 8 course dinner, at half price (220 dkk) which we bought and the food you see is what we got, for 2 people. I am not even talking about the fact that the portions were too small for 2 people to share, olives counting as a course etc. but how embarrassing and cheap their way of serving is: 2 people have to share 3 sardines and then 1 single pølsehorn. What if a single person came for dinner? You would serve then 1.5 sardines and half pølsehorn? And the gut it takes to assume that this dinner is worth 900 kr. It’s hard for me to understand why a business choses to act so cheap and embarassing over some vouchers, to cheat people, instead of asking for an honest price and serve an honest dinner, which I would gladly do instead of being treated so...
Read moreThe worst dining experience I've had in Copenhagen. Despite the restaurant having a pleasant atmosphere, the food was a disaster and absolutely not worth the money. We were a group of six, three couples, and none of us found the meal enjoyable. We unanimously agreed that we would never return.
The meal began with a starter of sashimi, boiled eggs, and cheese dip—a bizarre combination that failed on every level. Not one element was appetizing. For the main course, two of us had the vegetarian dish, while the other four ordered lamb. Unfortunately, all of the dishes were bland and lacking in flavor. I personally had the eggplant, which was entirely tasteless. The experience didn't improve with dessert, as only one person from our group finished it; the rest of us couldn’t bring ourselves to eat it.
In short, a deeply disappointing...
