Like walking into a dressed up corpse of a pub turned into a diner. The place tries, I'll give it that, but the atmosphere is chaotic, with everything from broken toilet seats and trash bins, to paper towels covering the restroom floors, to unfinished details around carpets, walls and lamps. The overall vibe was just that this used to be a pub/eatery that has been dressed up in a hurry, to make it look like a diner. The service was terrible, but I am not blaming the staff, they are just too young and inexperienced, with a lack of leadership guidance. They greet us, telling us their payment system is out, and we might not be able to pay for our food, and they don't know for how long we have to wait.... We had a reservation for 8 people for a birthday party, might want to send a notification via mail/sms, but that wasn't the case. We were promised a flag, even told after we sat down, that they would bring a flag to the table of the birthday holder. This never happened. From our arrival to the time we actually got our food, we spent 1 hour and 10 minutes in the "diner". Staff seemed stressed out, with a lack of excess and sight for what needed to be done in what order. After approximately 2 hours the "freshly renovated" playroom did open, paint still being wet on some surfaces 🤷♂️ This was a small reckoning after all.
The food is hardly worth even mentioning, just the price really doesn't fit the product. It's a pizza, and not even a particularly good one, considering the place is branding itself as a pizza joint. Anyways, boring, wet pizzas, with burned bottoms.
I would not recommend wasting money here ever.
The place advertised themselves as having a playroom for children, which they did have, sadly it was being renovated. The playroom was one of the reasons for choosing Frankies... Not even this was noted or mentioned on their webpage. Which added to the frustration of having a reservation at what just wasn't a cosy place to eat not great food but expensive food.
Edit! Forgot to mention the dirty glasses and cutlery, multiple glasses at our table were dirty on the inside, with dried in stains 🤢 a few forks and knifes as well, really...
Read moreI have been to so many Frankies pizza restaurants and have had a pleasant experience. But yesterday was my worst experience ever in any restaurant in Denmark. The place hires students out of school who clearly have no experience on hospitality or how a customer should be treated.
The female manager was rude from the start and kept us waiting for 10 mins at the door even though there was no que.
The order did not arrive for more than 1 hour and when I wanted to check the status, she completely ignored and did not feel responsible to give me an answer. Rather she was busy chatting and giggling with other staff.
When I confronted her for the delay and bad experience, neither was she sorry and nor did she speak politely.
Food is good but people come to restaurants for good experience with friends and family which this place clearly doesn’t know how to offer. I doubt I will ever come back to this restaurant and hope you train your staff some politeness and manners to deal with...
Read moreDisappointing "Manifeast" Experience at Frankie's Frederiksberg, Copenhagen.
Our recent experience at Frankie's (Frederiksberg, Copenhagen) left us all feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. We were a group of six, excited to try their highly-promoted "Manifeast," which promised, and I quote from their website, "Rest assured - I kommer ikke til at mangle noget" (Rest assured - You won't be missing anything). Sadly, we were left feeling deceived.
All we received were six pizzas in total, one per person, and drinks. For the high price, we anticipated more variety and substance. For over an hour, the waitstaff kept assuring us that more pizzas were coming, only to inform us in the end that nothing more would be served.
Frankie's failed to deliver on its promises, providing overpriced pizza and drinks, and wasting our time with misleading information. I would not recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a fulfilling dining experience. Look elsewhere for a place that meets...
