The Old Irish Pub — Restaurant in Frederiksberg Municipality

In over five years of living in Denmark, I've never had an experience as unpleasant as the one with this pub.

My friends and I were denied in the rudest possible manner getting in the pub because the bouncer at the door decided that an officially issued Danish photo ID was not enough and expected us to carry our passports around on a Friday evening... .

I'm very sorry for the managing team behind this supposedly popular pub for either imposing some awkwardly discriminative door policy, or for having a duche with zero customer manner at the very first point of customer service. It's just embarressing.

P.S: Apparently, this is a thing, going on for at least a year... just look at people's comment on the pub's...

One of the worst experiences I ever had. The security just spoke to me in Dansihs for which I nodded, not knowing the language and then he grabbed me by my bag and pulled violently and said “you disrespected me so I’m not letting you in” which was totally unfair and kinda racist because I’m brown and even though I did not explain to him that I didn’t understand the language and was sorry for my behaviour - he said if you disrespect me, you are not going in and kicked me out. My friend and I were out on the cold and super disappointed and felt obviously discriminated, Not gonna come back, I’m going to fie a case sorry, and please don’t even think...

The one in Fredericksberg have the worst Security racist people. There was the other night all this security who were Arabians and definitive were extreamly racist to some of the danes that were coming there and me and my friend we didint get in. He ask for passports and saw that we were from latin america and he was like no you cant get in.. We were why .. one of them was like puff fno!!! the other guy was like you guys cant get in because this is only for danish people.. and also...
