Wafu Ramen — Restaurant in Frederiksberg Municipality

Did take away from this place. Im a fan of ramens in general so here’s my assessment:

1. good package for takeaway
2. noodles texture is super springy and nice(not too thin. Imo the texture is better than biru ramen) love it
3. maze soba is cheap and delicious! (69 dkk) Vegeterian option with vegetables and pickes which us refreshing anf appetising
4. miso ramen is quite ok as well but more expensive. Imo Soup base is not as rich as biru ramen and slurp
5. dumplings are small but done well and tasty!
6. the worse performer was the eggs. The one i ordered extra on top of my mazesoba was not springy at all. Texture tasted like old age. Either they had a bad day with the eggs or they cant do eggs well so u can keep...

I came alone at 12 noon on Saturday, and I was the first one, the restaurant was empty.

now it’s 12:45 ramen still hasnt come, despite me asking for a few times. The lady said it would be in 5-10 minutes and another person just came to help her. Seems that the shop was not prepared. restaurant is empty so I dont understand the wait, card machine is not working, so I had to mobile pay.

on top of that, I asked for more beansprouts like in the picture, the lady said there is no beansprouts in real, that was the old picture. the restaurant is empty, but there is only 1 worker, hence the poor service.

dont recommend and frankly dont understand the great reviews!...

I went there with my friends and I ordered miso ramen. My miso ramen was so good and I can't get enough of the soup. It was really tasty and better than other places I've tried in CPH. They serve huge portions, just like in Japan. Tastewise it was the closest I could find that was similar to the one I had in Tokyo.

The service was very friendly and good. The place was nice and cozy. It was not crowded and didn't seemed like a hyped place. It's definitely one of Frederiksberg's hidden gem. I will definitely come back again!

Overall it was a really good experience, and I can highly recommend...
