Famosi & Golosi — Restaurant in Frederiksberg Municipality

Cut to the chase. Famosi & Golosi is a very good restaurant. A lovely, cozy Trattoria atmosphere, relaxed and super friendly staff, and above all, the food is really good.

Yesterday, I was part of a party of four. I had a three-course meal: Six delicious Bruschettas, Guinea fowl breast ("perlehønebryst" in danish) with Madagascar pepper sauce, and a delicious Lemon creme brulée with limoncello. All tasty and delightful. This isn't the first time I've been to the restaurant, and I am positively surprised by how consistent the level is.

If we dwell a bit on the size of the bill, I would just like to state that in that price range, there are very few restaurants that...

Another gem hidden deep within guts of Fredriksberg. Italian restaurant with real Italian staff, food and wine. And a perfect idea of 2 or 3 course menus with standard or premium wine pairing – individually advised by waiters. Maitre has a a manner of speaking remind of Marlon Brando in Godfather which makes the experience even fuller. As for food - vitello tonato, ravioli, veal, spaghetti with shrimps as well as affogato or limoncello crema cotta (somehow strangely reminding of crème brulee) with a choice of riesling from Alto Adige, Valpolicellas, Brolos, Primitivos and Supertoscaners will really make your day. Had a bad experience here. Booked through earlybird, but were given the menu by mistake... On the menu we saw that one safes only 10 dkk by choosing a fixed menu through earlybird and not the promised 33%. So a bit a bad start...

We were then treated as second class customers (given (in our eyes) worst table and weren't allowed to switch, even though the restaurant later did not get past 50% of the capacity that evening). On top the server was snippish and unwelcoming (which got much better when we considered a third round of wine, so they seem to like well paying customers...)
