Worth the hype? I would disagree. This was my first Gasoline Grill experience and I got a combo (which is not the cheapest tbh). I ordered a Green Burger with the green MATR “beef” added. Really liked the taste and textures and all the veggies were a good combination together. So I considered giving you 4 stars not 3. But I would seriously recommend a plate for that burger cause it was so juicy that my hands and tray was drenched in burger juice. And when you are 3 people sharing a tray and two got Green Burger that needed something to catch all the juice dripping it’s a really messy experience without plates. I know you have a certain branding but what’s more important? The branding or the customer experience? And it should be possible since we were staying in and not to go. And the price that’s payed should not leave you with a feeling of being cut cheap in service.
The fries were just very similar if not just the freezer bought ones from the supermarket. Not a lot of love put into those.. Fell very short compared to effort for the burger. So disappointed for sure when thinking about price and hype.
I liked the menu made it easy to choose as a vegetarian cause everything could be made vegetarian sort of. A bit cold interior choices inside but lovely atmosphere outside. And the staff was friendly.
Last comment is about environmental impact- you make the food all organic which is great but then you still get lots of waste even as a stay in.. I don’t understand that??? Like at least put dip for fries into a metal cup or something when you stay to eat. It’s a lot of waste you create when it’s plastic for each dip, each burger and fries wrapped like...
Read moreEdit: After posting my original review, I suggested changing the listing in Google Maps to show this location as temporarily closed, which was quickly accepted. Hopefully this prevented a similar waste of time for others.
Now that the location is open again, I am updating my review to reflect the quality of the restaurant and the food. As an American expat, I like to pretend I know a thing or two about burgers. With these imaginary credentials on the line, I propose that the burgers at Gasoline Grill (all locations) may be the best burger you can possibly eat. In the world.
There is no need for parlor tricks on these burgers. No triple patty stacks, onion rings or tater tots pressed inside, or other out of the box ideas included in an attempt to elevate the concept of a burger.
These are burgers in their purest, most perfect form. Exactly the right toppings, in the right quantity. Paired with a buttery toasted potato bun and flavorful, juicy, melt in your mouth beef. Each bite is like an explosion of burger flavor. Do yourself a favor and experience this.
Oh, the fries are great too. Love a good crinkle cut french fry!
Original review: This location is currently closed due to Covid-19. An update to the Google Maps listing should be made so people don’t waste their time getting to...
Read moreTheir butter burgers are the best no doubt. But something strange I heard from their employee as a response to my request of their lemonade without ice because I get brain freeze when I have my drinks with ice was - I’m sorry I cannot do that as per company policy I have to put ice. To this I said okay that’s strange, so can you put minimum ice in that case and the response was no I can’t I will put as per standards though he said he would try he still put in ice cubes as much covering 3/4th of the glass (I’m from the F&B industry and have never heard of such a company policy or seen such careless attitude towards people who have issues with certain things in their diet) I really want to know is this a company policy to force people to have ice in their drinks even if it can cause them a migraine. If it is, you really need to give this a thought. That one star rating is for the service, as I can’t get over the experience...
