Loved this place! Restaurant Torvet has the perfect location right in the heart of Helsingør, and the outdoor seating is amazing when the sun is out and we were lucky to visit on a very sunny Saturday. The food was very delicious with traditional Danish dishes done right and local beer to wash it down. Service was friendly, the atmosphere was great, and I’d absolutely come back. Recommended when in Helsingør.

Expensive and totally without taste on all meals we ordered (shrimp salad, schnitzel (which I realized was some kind of fish after a while), hamburger, pasta bolognese and chicken nuggets. No one in the family finished their meal which is rare. We decided to order water with the food since they wanted 35dkk for a glass of coke which is ridiculously expensive in Swedish kronor (50kr right now (almost 5 EUR)). Seems like a lottery to visit this place when looking at the reviews.... The waiter was...

Denne restaurant var den første jeg stødte på i Torvet, der havde bare et eller andet vegansk. Jeg bestilte en salat uden dressing (vegansk) og eftersom den alligevel kostede 80 kr (tror jeg det var), forventer man lidt mere dazzle end den kedelige omgang blade med 3 agurker og tomater, som jeg fik. Jeg har fået bedre salater for 29 kr.

Når man bestiller en salat for 80 kr. forventer man smag og mere luksuriøst grønt, såsom avocado, asparges, krydderurter, radiser, mango, granatæble, couscous, ja, et eller andet mere interessant end ganske almindelig salatblade, man får i et pitabrød!

Det var svært at komme i gennem de 500g salatblade, særligt da de 3 agurkesnitter og tomater var blevet spist, og det mættede slet ikke. Men alligevel får de 2 stjerner pga. den hurtige service og søde tjener, der sørgede for, at jeg fik olivenolie til salaten! Tak for god service :-) Uden ham havde dette sted ikke haft nogen værdi.

Jeg er så taknemmelig for, at de i det mindste havde noget veggie på menuen, men jeg havde nok ledt videre, hvis jeg vidste, hvor fantasiløs salaten var. Kom nu ind i kampen,...
