I had the pleasure of dining at Café Kik, a cozy and welcoming restaurant with a charming view of Frederiksborg Castle. From the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by Viktoria, whose attentive service set the tone for a delightful experience.

The highlight of my visit was the rib-eye steak – a perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavourful cut that exceeded my expectations. Served with crispy fries, a fresh salad, and a creamy sauce, the meal was beautifully presented on a wooden board, adding a rustic charm to the dining experience.

Started off good, we had good service and the main course came quick. When we ordered dessert I took them almost 30 minutes to get us 3 cakes, and they told us that the dessert will come after we were done with our coffee. The English speaking people that served us during the dessert were very rude and when we told them that we have been waiting 30 minutes for a piece of cake, they printed our bills and looked at their watches to check if we lied to them. They behaved very inappropriate, and treated us horribly …. When we finally after telling them we have to leave got our cake order cancelled, one of the servants came with the cakes as an apology for free. We came in yesterday starving, ordered the most expensive item on the menu (Chateubriand) for 2 pers. We were welcomed by a gentle and sweet waitress (Kalina) who was very helpful and cleaned our table before seating us. Later on unfortunately, another waitress (johana) came to take the order. She was very superficial and rude in the way taking our orders. She needs a lot of practice in customer service field, how to reply and how to follow up on her tables , and knowing what’s the difference between sharing a bottle and ordering a glass.
