Casa Nostra — Restaurant in Hillerød Municipality

The waiter was friendly and helpful, but unfortunately, the food left much to be desired. We ordered a salmon salad, a Margherita pizza, and lasagne. Although the salmon salad had decent salmon inside, the taste was overpowered by an inordinate amount of fish roe that didn't complement the texture and flavor of the salmon. The Margherita pizza looked and tasted like a frozen one from a supermarket, but it was still edible. However, the lasagne was a different story. After more than five decades of roaming this planet, I think I found the worst lasagne I have ever tasted. The indescribable fat béchamel sauce enveloped the whole portion like a blob, and the meat tasted undistinguishable from the pasta dough. It was absolutely dire. Although I feel sorry leaving negative reviews, I know from personal experience how difficult it is to work in a kitchen and run a business. Such a bad experience. The food was overpriced and really bad. The bolognese was basically a tomato soup with overcooked pasta. The chicken salad was completely blant. The mozzarella pizza had more ingredients than listed (e. g. prossciuto)and the cheese was placed on top, raw and not melted. The stuff was rude: i kindly called the waiter 2 times in order to pay; he looked me straight in the eye and ignored me, my dad had to intervene and tell him that we want to pay. Last but not least the WHOLE time we were eating we heard the really loud laughing and talking of the staf plus the sound of the coins that one of the waiter tried to put into the cash desk (yes it took him 30 min. to do that and it was sooo annoying). Brunch was alright. But I didn't get any olives and there was no syrup with pancake. Also looks like part of the Omelette was missing :) (See top left on the pic) The pancake was very very dry. When I asked for syrup they said it was added to the yoghurt and refused to give any syrup. Both the waiters were also very loud and defensive. I mean all I asked for was a little bit of syrup :) I got no honey either. My friend got raw salmon with her vegetarian brunch. It wasn't included in the menu card (later I found it in their vegetarian brunch menu on their website but not on the menu card given to us). When she asked them to take it away, they got very loud and told her to just eat it. Really poor service. Won't go...
