Very disappointing experience.

We had been promised a grill buffet with various meats, grilled vegetables, salads, bread, and the like.

What we got was a grill that wasn't nearly big enough for the number of guests, so the selection of meat was basically just sausages, since the chicken was still cold and the other meat was raw.

The scalloped potatoes weren’t heated through either.

The bread was the cheapest hot dog buns from Salling.

The salad bar consisted of four options:

Tomatoes with onions and feta Green salad leaves Watermelon with peanuts Green beans and eggplant – though that was almost empty.

The sauces were just the hot dog stand’s assorted ketchup and remoulade.

When the manager took over the grill after an hour to try and salvage the miserable start to the evening’s “festive dinner,” it all had to go so fast that the now expanded selection of meats and vegetables ended up with a lovely aftertaste of lighter fluid, as the grill was given an extra boost.

The one star is for the decent brownie and vanilla ice cream we had for dessert.

No hygiene! I ordered ice coffee, the man attending took the ice cubes using his bare hands and put them in the glasses. The lady preparing the coffees was sweeping her sweaty frown all the time and then took the glasses by the rim several times. The same lady used her fingertips to push icecream balls off the spoon. I just could not believe it. It would have been bad enough on regular basis. Under the covid risk it is just unbelievable. Order things that come perfectly sealed, do not trust anything they...

We had a long layover at the Copenhagen airport and since the hotels menu was expensive we explored a little bit. This was about a 10 minute walk from our hotel.
