If you’re looking for a spot in Punta Cana that’s full of charm, flavor, and warmth, Florecita is it! From the moment you walk in, you feel that laid-back island vibe mixed with genuine Dominican hospitality. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a casual night out with friends or a romantic dinner.
The food is truly the star here. Everything tastes fresh and authentic, with dishes that showcase local flavors in a way that feels both homey and elevated. Portions are generous, so come hungry (and maybe ready to share a plate or two). Pair that with refreshing drinks, and you’ve got yourself a little slice of paradise at the table.
Service is friendly and attentive staff go out of their way to make sure you feel welcome, even if there’s a language barrier at times. It adds to the charm and authenticity of the experience.
Pros: • Delicious, authentic Dominican food with great variety • Warm, welcoming atmosphere • Friendly service that makes you feel like family • Good portions and fair prices
Cons (but minor): • It can get busy, so service may be a little slower during peak times • The space is more casual than upscale, so if you’re expecting fine dining, adjust your mindset

My wife and I both agreed that this could be considered a decent restaurant in some rural area, but the prices here are completely unjustified for the...

Overall, it was a good experience. We were early so were prepared for few people and lack of atmosphere. However, we were made welcome by our friendly waiter.
The bread and welcome drink were a good start. We were invited to view the impressive wine cellar which was interesting. The computer system still has a few glitches as our chosen wine wasn't in its rightful place.
Starters were beautifully presented and very tasty. It wasn't clear whether my partner's dorada was supposed to have bern filleted. He certainly had to spend time removing bones.
The crème brulée was plenty for two and was delicious.
In summary, we thoroughly enjoyed our last meal...
