Pa' Stela Restaurant — Restaurant in Santiago de los Caballeros

The food used to be good at the beginning of the opening of the restaurant but now last time we went the food was mediocre. The appetizer literally tasted as it was heated up in the microwave. For the price, you would expect that they would keep the same quality that they offered when they first opened, keep in mind we have gone to this place on multiple occasions when they first opened.

Now the location, they should change their name to a bar instead of just restaurant. As they literally have super LOUD music, when the restaurant itself it’s not very big. They would have two events going on, one on the patio and one inside, mind you while there are people eating at the restaurant. The day we went other tables looked pretty uncomfortable as well. This place is amazing. The atmosphere is beautiful and even the smell! The waiter was friendly. We had the Calderito and the Chivo guisado. Delicious! Just so you know, the calderito is a huge serving. I couldn’t finish it but it was good.

We had an entré (croquetas de sancocho), two main meals, and for dessert we ordered the bread pudding with vanilla ice cream. The dessert was so good we returned the next day for more. Also, my husband went back for the calderito. All of this for just RD$3,800. We thought it was a good price.

We went for my dads bday and the 2nd time lunch with family , our experience each time was fantastic. The combination of delicious food and excellent service goes above and beyond. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great dining experience. I wish they had parking but at least they have valet.
