The food was great, but after my experience here, this place is better for take-out orders opposed to dining in -- they're a bit understaffed so you will need to be patient, during my visit the hostess was the waitress and the busser.

I give this place 3stars because although the short-handed staff was pleasant, My party had to request to be moved twice, simply said -- this place is not ideal if someone in your party is easily grossed out. If you are dining in, make sure to look up so that you aren't seated under one of they're messed nets that they have where the street birds fly into. And make sure to ask for a table that doesn't have constant cold drops falling in your food, for which I hope was just condensation from the air conditioner falling on my friends soup. The soup was complementary -but still --we were ready to leave when the hostess found us a non meshed net - dry seating...

First time coming here. Food was not bad but it could definitely be better. Service is terrible, servers know that tip is included which is probably why they don’t care to offer good service. They made it seem like it was inconvenience to take our order which was very frustrating. The new server we got was a bit better but still didn’t feel comfortable. Family got cocido, bistec, chicharrón de pollo, pasta, and mofongo. Steak was good but rice and beans were not the best. Pasta was not bad. Cocido was good according to family but the mofongo was not. They had a good variety. There juices are very good, can’t complain. Tables were dirty when we arrived which is what brought the atmosphere down a bit but overall and good atmosphere with good music. Probably would not come back or recommend due to very...

Adrian Tropical was the first restaurant I visited in Santo Domingo and was blown away by the landscaping of the restaurant.

There is a guard to assist with parking, once inside the restaurant staff greet you in a friendly manner. Once seated you are served a mini bowl of Sancocho soup (a taster so to speak).

We had to ask for a menu but once they brought the board over we went for an order of soup, mixed grill, pork ribs, fried plantain, rice, mofongo, avocado & salad.

The food was great and also I spoke only a few words in Spanish the staff were patient enough with me.

The food was seasoned well, tasted delicious, and was a good quantity. I would highly recommend eating here!

And I would definitely go back if I had more time here in...

Good local Dominican food with authentic flavors. We went for lunch and enjoyed the sancocho, which was hearty and delicious, and the arroz con pollo, which was flavorful and well-prepared. Service is slow, but this is typical throughout the country, so we were prepared to wait. The atmosphere is casual and pleasant, with nice views. Prices were reasonable, we spent about $10–15 per person, which felt fair for the quality and portion sizes. I would definitely recommend it for anyone wanting a true local dining experience. I hear they have live music for dinner in certain days.
