Babà & Co Pasticceria e Gelateria Artigianale — Local services in Santo Domingo

I ordered pistachio and chocolate gelato. The store owners or employees - unsure of their role as we didn’t have a conversation beyond what flavor I wanted and the cost - were aloof but they weren’t rude. The store didn’t offer cones so the employee placed my gelato in a plastic cup. I really wanted a cone but my disappointment waned after eating the first spoonful of gelato - it was to die for. I tried the same flavors at another gelato shop not too far away and they tasted badly. I vow to return to baba gelato - no cone having, emotionally distant...

This is an up and coming cozy place run by an Italian couple (as far as I can tell).

It has the downside of a small family shop: it is understaffed and sometimes it can get little crowded.

But it's a great place to have as little chat during a date. Nice atmosphere, clean and the icecream is great!

There's a very small selection of flavors but they are great.

They also have some desserts which were really good as well.

Everything looks clean and very well presented. Will definitely go back at...

La calidad es muy buena, muy buena, pero si es un poco caro, pero al no tener nada comparable se pueden dar el lujo de cobrar esos precios... aunque si van a cobrsr esos montos yo exijo mas calidad.. no ese cannoli medio blandito, eso le pasa a todos los cannolis, pero repito...a ese precio no pueden cometer ese error.

Agregando en respuesta al restaurante... todo se consumio dentro del local... el cannoli blandito fue consumido en el local... fue un cannoli de pistacho, no se que tiempo llevaba en la vitrina... hay q tener la humildad suficiente de reconocer q a veces se cometen errores... se pidieron dos cannolis, uno estaba bien el otro blandito... vuelvo y repito... a esos precios, no se pueden dar el lujo de cometer esos errores, pero si llegan a suceder, lo mas imprudente es tratar de culpar al comensal por ello... pedir perdon es...
