Sirena 💛 — Local services in Santo Domingo

This week opened the fashion month and so resources were all focus on the show, shelves emptied, little or no meat, expired products, bakery stopped baking, a mess !!!

A week after and you have a feeling the Sirena Flagship is going down. Yes it s still crazy packed with people but I believe it s more for convenience and location. Products variety is not as good as in the past. Pasta section, sweets, milk , all limited compare to the choice of Bravo or Jumbo . Grupo Ramos needs to wake up and smell the coffee, they still will draw customers but slowly quality will continue to go down !!!

Being a while since I wrote about the "Flagship Sirena Churchill" Probably one of the most profitable store of the Ramos family and where they have their corporate office. Apart from new tile work that was installed a couple of years ago, the store need some serious work inside and outside. What about a fresh coat of paint outside, pressure wash your large side walk. You re on Churchill ave , across form Blue Mall and JW Marriott. Still it seems as long as the money is flowing the rest does not matter. I have lot of respect for Don Ramos that came from Spain and build a small empire but still this store needs some work !!! You do that and you will see more people coming , more...

This supermarket is two stores in one where you can buy just anything. This is like a (baby) Walmart! Remember that not all of the (Sirens) chains have the same exact prices wherever you visit the same items are priced different and in the one that I visit regularly in (Winston Churchill) The might have a item priced that is not actually the priced but when you get to the register it cost more because some of the stock personal forgot to remove the discounted price inwhich I did check until I got home and then I realized that my total purchase for that day was more then I expected to pay. So buyer's beware so you wouldn't make the same mistake that I made. As an American visiting, it's like a grocery store, super deluxe target with some Walmart and Dollar General flavor. I found everything I needed. They keep the place clean; I swear I saw them buffing the floors every time I turned a corner.
