Bocana Beach & Club — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

We went to Bocana today as a group of 9, including a pregnant woman and two small kids. We ordered food, which arrived 90 minutes - yes 90 minutes - later. The rice was completely freezing cold, as was the pasta. Everything was inedible. Only half of the dishes we ordered were served. We had ordered fish with rice, fish with plantains, fish and chips. They took the cold rice away and left us with just fish, and half the people at the table with no food at all. Our server was called Pamela.

The rice reappeared 20 minutes later, and was freezing cold again. Very dangerous for pregnant women and kids to eat undercooked food. I complained and complained and asked for the manager. Various people I spoke to just kept referring me back to supervisor Angelina who was extremely rude and arrogant. I said the meal had been completely ruined and I was not prepared to pay for the food. She agreed that the service had been terrible, and yes the rice had been cold, but she said we had to pay and that was that. She said that if you order fish with rice, the rice is a free extra and it doesn't matter if it isn't served. Eventually her tone became extremely menacing and I was basically marched to the cashier and forced to pay, with an armed security guard standing next to me.

The location nd beach is beautiful .. however the worst service ever January 15th 2024 we went to this restaurants on their menu's they dont have any ingredients which is mandatory for security purposes if any clients has allergies.. i ordered a cordon bleu which in the menu it clearly stated "pollo" "chicken" however when i received the plate it was made with ham i told the waiter that i cant eat pork at all im allergic he said thats not his business i still need to pay if i dont eat it .. i told him on the menu it doesnt even specify he said if the plate wasnt good he would have changed it but the fact im allergic its not a good reason i told him to call the supervisor .. supervisor told me its dominican republic we use pork almost with everything i said i understand but its crazy yall cant even change my plate for anything else . 0 customer service i paid nd didnt eat anything everyone around were really shocked about their behaviour.. they told me pay and if you didnt like the service don't comeback its simple.. i told them i will...
