La Terraza by Gael — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

This restaurant is a complete scam. They charged us 500 american dollars for 4 plates and refused to lower the price until 10 minutes after when he finally gave us a better price, which was still astonishingly high. They should call the police and report the extreme cost of the food that wasn't even that good.

Edit- the prices on the menu are not true, and almost all of the good reviews are fake. Please do not be fooled by the many good reviews. This restaurant is a complete and total scam. I will never go here again and will warn everyone I meet to stay...

I basically live here (at least at the moment, while I’m holidaying) and it’s great. Good coffee, wonderful staff (all of them are lovely, though I’ve mainly been served by Alex, who is one of my favourite people in Boca Chica - and that’s saying something!) and perfect for sunning yourself by the beach.
