This is a hidden gem close to the beach and a short walk to any restaurant, grocery store or other amenity. The staff was always friendly and helpful, and made you feel like at home. Without knowing you’d simply think this was an Italian restaurant, but there’s a few hotel rooms and small apartments for rent as well on the complex.
The rooms were convenient and had a safe, mini fridge, TV, hot water, flush toilets and all you’d expect. Decoré was clean and bright. The bathrooms were stocked with soap, shampoo and even a toothbrush.
Very beautiful balcony view and the back area of the restaurant looks as a garden paradise. Table and chairs are set out from the rooms so you can enjoy the outside as well.
The restaurant was excellent. From the variety of breakfasts to the entrees. Another reviewer mentioned the presence of a gentleman with tattoos that was greeting guests, he I believe manages the place. When he’s not taking in deliveries of fresh island produce and ingredients, making you feel at home, he’s plating food prior to leaving the kitchen with the passion of an Italian. Great atmosphere overall and I loved seeing the fresh lobster and other ingredients...
Read moreFirst of all, something got mixed up on Google. This is not a hotel but an Italian restaurant. Atmosphere is casual and relaxed, yet nice. Location 2 blocks off Avenida Duarte is good, but it's a bit dark around, so watch your step if you walk there. Food is very okay. I got a Pizza diavolo, well prepared, quite big and tasty. Service is attentive but the place fills up quickly and you have to expect a wait especially Friday to Sunday night. What prevented me from giving 5 stars ( the 4 I gave is rather 3.5) is the price level. 15 dollars for a normal size pizza and 2 beer is to much, at least for the Dominican Republic that is. Unfortunately this is a common experience in the DR today. A lot of proprietors seem to wanna become rich over night and have raised prices to an unacceptable level. I am sure this is serving tremendous harm to the tourism industry and will be the cage nail for individual tourism. Today everything but all inc. resorts is way to expensive in the DT, given the cost...

I definitely plan on staying there again on my next visit to the slice of Dominican Paradise...
