Dumpling Express — Restaurant in Santo Domingo

My wife and I were in Santo Domingo looking for a bite to eat on a late night and stumbled upon this spot. The staff are super friendly, the food was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was really cool!

We had the egg rolls and dumplings which were delicious. The egg rolls are veggie and had that perfect crunch to it. They also pair it with a really good authentic duck sauce. As far as the dumplings, we had the veggie ones, which were full of flavor. (The picture I added does not do it justice).

The food is pretty good, from the dumplings and wings to their crab cakes and friend rice; I recommend trying a little bit of everything. I will say the sauce options for the dumplings are a bit disappointing seeing that most are very similar in taste but regardless, the dumplings themselves are quite tasty. The biggest letdown is the service, all four times I have gone, my family/friends and I feel unwelcome and it’s sad since it’s such a cute, small spot with great music. We sat inside and sampled a few of their wide range of mainly canned beers from the USA, as well as a couple of plates of their excellent dumplings with a range of toppings.
