I have mixed feelings about this. Unlike Pangea the place has a more humble and basic decoration. It has the feel of a mom and pop indian restaurant in Mumbay.
THE FOOD IS GREAT. I mean, if you are looking for traditional indian cuisine, this is place is for you.
Service couldn't be better. They are nice, treat you well, and are knowledgeable on the menu items so they can help you choose according to the experience you want to have with ethnic cuisine.
My only complaint is the price. Too high. For comparison, they charged us DOP$180 for a 20oz Coke. Supermarket price is $40.
Our bill was in total DOP4,800.00.
I would have been ok with anything between 3k and 3.5k, considering we had appetizers, drinks (non alcoholic), one Coca-Cola , and two main dishes. Portions weren't exuberant.
I have shared a picture of the bill. I went for more extreme indian dishes (although not spicy) so don't copy/paste my order if you go there. Ask for advice from the lovely waiters there if you don't know what to order. Again, great service.
Summary: Delicious, nice,...
Read moreI am an Indian and giving my genuine review for this Restaurant... This place is a gem in this beautiful island where we Indians crave for authentic Indian food and our needs were fulfilled here ... I came here for work purpose and ate at the restaurant with few Dominican friends.
The owners Nisrin and Ali were really humble and shared their beautiful journey how they got shifted here and how they got inspired to open an Indian restaurant far from their homeland. It was inspiring.
The food was really tempting and served hot .. Portion were good according to Latin American standards. Prices were good infact cheaper and big portions than an another restaurant we visited during our stay in DR ( don't want to describe the name). Service was really good ... They don't serve Alcohol as it's 100% halal restaurant.
I ate here thrice during my stay of 7 nights so u can imagine how good was the food and service... I didn't took much photos but ill share few . If I came back in this country I'll be back to this restaurant too . Thanks for the hospitality...

Amazing 💛 Authentic 🙏🏾 Abundance of flavor 🎉
If you’re searching for the BEST Indian food in Santo Domingo, this is your place. I originally found this place through UberEats, but we finally had the chance to stop in to eat in person. We love it so much, we’ve been back 4 times and will be back again this afternoon 😅
So far we’ve tried: -Chana Masala -Butter Chicken -Palak Chicken -Dal -Garlic Naan (lots of that!) -Goat Biryani -Tamarind chicken (forgot the name)
Every bite was an explosion of flavor. The waitresses are all friendly and attentive. We were able to chat with the owner who was very welcoming and made us feel at home. Truly a treat and highly encourage those with a love for Indian food or who are ready to try something new, to stop by. Tell them Cj sent ya!
Pro tip: ask for the little white fennel seeds when checking out. Sweet, but aid...
