Plaza Juan Barón — Attraction in Santo Domingo

I need to write this because it happened in the same Plaza.

Worst service I had ever had in any place.

I had a disappointing experience at El Faro. As part of my order, I had food and multiple drinks—I’m someone who usually consumes a good amount of drinks when I go out. One of those was a sangria for my girlfriend, but it tasted really bad—unpleasant and not fresh at all.

I brought it up with the manager, but they refused to change it, claiming more than 30 minutes had passed. There’s no sign or policy anywhere that mentions a time limit to return a drink, especially if it’s undrinkable. On top of that, the waitress was distracted and didn’t attend to us when we called, which delayed the process even more.

Between the bad drink, the poor service, and the lack of accountability, this was a frustrating visit. Not...

This a spot to share with family and friends. You'll find some low quality and cheap toys for sale with lights and stuff, some people in costumes dressed as cartoons characters (not so good quality ones), very nice ladies painting kid's faces (not for free obviously) some nice food places (warning: some of them may have pricy drinks).

I'm not classy but some people care about this, so you should know that the majority of the public who visit this park are from the hoods around the area and it's also incredibly crowded...way too much...for my taste at least...

Visité este lugar y no califiqué atracciones individuales sino toda el área. Ambience ofrece muchas tiendas y atracciones, diversión para niños y adultos. Precios. de media. condición vista visualmente. para este país. Bastante bien. El ambiente tenía muchos botes de basura, un área bien cuidada ... ubicada justo al lado del mar. Desde comida hasta diversión, todo está disponible. Le doy a este 4 estrellas. porque los baños son malos. esto se puede hacer mejor. ahora para peor. Los inodoros. En algunas atracciones el personal intenta hacer trampa. Algunos pagaron 100 pesos, otros deberían pagar más. , aquí la suposición es porque son blancos. Esto es muy común en este país, pero debería detenerse. Los mendigos son muy críticos. En un lugar tan pequeño había 7 mendigos y dos que hasta querían discutir. no, eso es muy malo. Donde hay niños y mujeres o familias, los mendigos u otras personas en esta zona no tienen nada que buscar. Tampoco había suficiente policía ni seguridad en el lugar. Estas áreas están destinadas a ser divertidas, románticas y relajantes. no para mendigar. robar y engañar. Lo siento SD. eso funciona mucho mejor. ambiente 4 estrellas. personal 3 estrellas atracciones de 3 a 5 estrellas dependiendo de la atracción, seguridad 1 estrella, comida 4 estrellas, apto para niños sí, apto para adultos sí. pero como se describió anteriormente con muchas desventajas. Consejo mío: no les des nada a los mendigos y trata de ignorarlos. Lleve dinero en la bolsa del cuello debajo de la ropa. Potencial 5 estrellas...
