Words can’t express the amazing experience we had at Casa Adefra. From the minute you book your stay to the very last minute that you leave.
We were greeted with kindness, friendliness and respect despite getting there by midnight. We stayed for 4 nights and everything we needed and more was given to us, even things that we didn’t think of till last minute.
The service was personalize and all around top notch. We had someone around the clock making sure we were comfortable. Omar and Melissa went above and beyond to make sure that we wanted for nothing. Kamal (the owner) took his time to visit us a few times to get first hand feedback making sure we were happy. They are also very responsive to text even after hours and always with a smile.
The hotel was impeccably clean and had every item we might need down to Bluetooth speakers which is rare.
We had plenty of pillows and everything you might need in the kitchenette making the place extra comfortable. They also offer breakfast every morning which is included in your stay.
The place was also quiet to sleep despite being close to every attraction, including the heart of zona colonial because of the street that is on which is also rare if you stay in other hotels in the area that are very close to the parties.
At the end of our stay we were send off with a smile by the workers and the owner.
Needless to say we will definitely be back to...
Read moreWhat a wonderful place! From booking to checking out, Kamal stayed in touch and gave me explicitly clear instructions for the Uber from the airport, as well as guides to local restaurants and things to do. And best of all, when I left at the absurdly hour of 5:20 a.m., he made sure his night clerk was there to carry my bag to the corner and wait for the Uber with me. There is always a staff member on the premises, so if you book here, you never need to worry about leaving your luggage prior to check-in or getting confused about your room and its amenities. And there are many amenities! Reliable hot and warm water, a/c, kitchenette with two burners, microwave, sink, and fridge, as well as Netflix and strong wi-fi.
The street is the main walk street of the colonial zone. My room had a balcony, which was wonderful for people watching. I chose a studio on the 4th floor (no elevator), which was fine, actually. I would absolutely return here if I made another trip to...

The rooms are very clean and well decorated, with all the necessary amenities. It feels more like an apartment than a hotel room, which I enjoyed. The king bed is very comfortable, you are sure to have a good night sleep.
Even though it is on located on one of the most busy street in Zona Colonial, it is very tranquil in the room. It is walking distance to all the main attractions.
They serve breakfast on a charming terrace, be sure to try the eggs which are delicious!
What I appreciated the most is the kindness of the staff. Omar and Reysal were always available to give great advice and to make sure that I was comfortable. Kamal, the owner, was very responsive on WhatsApp to answer my questions.
Everything is perfect at this place, I will definitely come back if I visit Santo Domingo. I strongly recommend you...
