I had the pleasure of dining at this gem during my visit to Luxor last month, and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the moment I walked in, the warm and attentive service made me feel instantly welcome. The ambiance is charming and relaxed, perfectly complementing the vibrant local energy of Luxor.
The menu offered a thoughtful blend of traditional flavors and modern touches. Every dish we tried was beautifully presented and bursting with freshness — the ingredients clearly sourced with care. The flavors were rich but never heavy, and the balance of spices was just right. What really stood out was how each course felt inspired and genuine, not just “tourist fare.”
On top of the excellent food and ambiance, the staff’s knowledge and genuine enthusiasm added an extra layer of delight. They took the time to explain specialties, answer our questions, and ensure everything was perfect from start to finish.
In short: if you find yourself in Luxor, this is the place to go. Outstanding food, lovely atmosphere, and service that goes above and beyond. I can’t wait to...
Read moreMy favorite restaurant in Luxor, I've been several times in the last year. They serve all the standard tagines and moussakas of Egyptian cousine, but do so with consistent delicious quality. They don't over or under salt, a very common Egyptian sin, and dishes vary in spice profiles so they don't all taste the same. The owner/ chef travels around North Africa looking for new flavors, cool dishware, and is an all-around interesting person.
If you want a particular special treat, ask him to prepare Morracan couscous. You need to ask the day before, as it takes his wife many hours to prepare, but it is a beautiful massive dish full of meats and vegetables in a sea of couscous. One such couscous once feed us for three glorious days! Oh and it has a nice view on the roof.

Read moreWe popped in shortly after they opened in the morning at around 10am just for a drink and sat in the garden. We were greeted by a friendly chap, who explained that the kitchen would be preparing food and would be serving from around 1130. The whole place looks very clean and fresh and the chap who served us explained that it had been repainted just a week or so ago. We took a look at the menu and the prices at around 200egp for meat dishes look fairly standard for a non locals tourist restaurant but the purely vegetable dishes at 160egp are overpriced. We had a nescafe coffee with milk 35egp and a fresh Srawberry juice 55egp which was purely blendered strawberries and not some of the thick syrupy bright red gloop served elsewhere. It was delicious. Nice little place and...
