Habu Garden — Restaurant in Luxor

After a long day of sightseeing, we stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the kindest and friendliest staff, who made us feel like family. Despite arriving late, they graciously stayed open for us, ensuring we were well taken care of.

The food was simply incredible. The aubergine, cauliflower, and moussaka were the stars of the meal—each dish bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared.

What truly set this place apart was their above-and-beyond hospitality. Not only did they accommodate us at such a late hour, but they even offered us a ride back to our hotel, a gesture that speaks volumes about their generosity and commitment to their guests.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough to anyone visiting the area. It’s more than a meal—it’s an experience of warmth, hospitality, and unforgettable flavors....

Even though Egypt is pretty veggie friendly, this place was by far my favorite meal in Egypt. I have a relative who lives in the area and she recommended this spot. She had called ahead and let them know that I was vegan, so they made some dishes specifically with that in mind, which was absolutely incredible. (Don't know if you'll get the same service, but definitely call ahead and ask or maybe send them an email because they were super accommodating!) From the moment I walked in, he made me feel welcome and ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was perfect. His attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and professionalism were outstanding.

The food was equally impressive – every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. It’s clear that a lot of care and effort goes into both the service and the kitchen here.
