So this was my first visit: All in-door tables were reserved for photoshooting. Though it wasn't necessary to reserve the entire indoor while you were only using one table for the photo session!!! We had to stay outside during noon time! We ordered 2 meals: chicken piccata (4.5/5), Roasted chicken (4.5/5), both were too dry, however in term of quality both meals were good. Also, we ordered Moroccan tea (2/5), it's just dry mint (too much) with tea, nothing authentic in taste or quality. We had 2 coffees, turkish coffee and espresso. Both tasted really really good. However, it's a common courtesy to serve both coffees with a small treat. It's very basic thing, even the coffee cups had a dedicated space for the treat. I tried to open a conversation with one of the servers complimenting the coffee quality and asking about it's origin ? He was like "no, I don't know"...- awkward silence - ..."ask the barista plz?" ... he went in for 2 seconds (literally) and came back with "it's Brazilian", I don't even think he asked anyone! So, assessing his upsale skills, I showed him the space in the saucer (the coffee plate) joking with him, "isn't there suppose to be something to fill the space?, like a treat or something"... he was like "no" and left!! Just one word. And he wasn't even busy as he was standing next to the door!
Ok, regardless of the embarrassment, this simple conversation showed lack of training, knowledge and inability to "upsale" one of the unique things there. We ordered few other things and left. Paid in total around EGP +700. (5 drinks + 2 meals)
I gave it 3 stars as average, the place will give you experience from both ends of the spectrum.
In summary: Food is good, coffee is awesome, tea is basic, place is spotless, stuff needs more training, price is relatively...

After the main dishes, we ordered the Roasted Peach dessert from the manager.
It took so so long to arrive , much more than the main dishes, then arrived a plate of Roasted Pineapples !!!!!
I thought i made a mistake in ordering the dish and asked the manager about it he said this is the plate, I asked for the menu again from him and showed him that there is no pineapple dish in the menu , the manager then said it my mistake in telling the chef, I said no problem just change it to peach, at that moment he had to admit that they ran out of peach !!!!!! The pineapple tasted really really sour .
I told the manager this attitude is really not acceptable, you don’t find peach then you use pineapple and just send it to your customer!!!!! The manager said i am 17 years experience in Marriot !!!!!!
This left me feeling humiliated, this place didn’t respect me or my choices, they didn’t take a minute to tell me that my dish is not available and make me choose another dish ……. They just wanted to feed me what they have in the kitchen!!!!!!
The manager said it is just a mistake and removed the plate ……..
We left the place feeling humiliated …..
We are never going back to this place , this place didn’t respect the clients and sought they can throw anything to our table and we will eat it !!!!!!
The one who did this is the manager not a waiter , which means this is the attitude of the place not a waiter mistake as the manager took the order and he brought the dish to the table and he tried first to cover up for the intended mistake !!!!!!!
We came to the restaurant to spend nice time , went home feeling humiliated. Thanks Oblivious You will never...
