Whenever I’m in Cairo, I meet a friend for breakfast at Tabali. It became our ritual. Tabali is so good, that this was maybe my 10th visit. The outdoor area is very pleasant. The service is perfect. All the staff is so cheerful and helpful. It is really rare to find this type of service in Cairo. Today we ordered: a plate of Foul with saffron lemon (10/10) a plate of Feta Cheese with Tomatoes (10/10) and a plate Scrambled eggs with pastrami (8/10). Their Fava beans dish with Saffron Lemon must be their signature dish. Each time I visit Tabali, I order this dish. I don’t know how they cook it but the flavors from this mixture is incredible: the beans are so tender and the lemon saffron mix adds a perfect brightness for contrast . When you take a bite, the beans melt like butter in my mouth, then I get a ting of the lemon. It is a unique taste. I like this dish so much, I took 2 boxes as takeaway, so I can have it for breakfast throughout the coming week. I will definitely go again and again.

That was my first visit to tabali and I don’t think will be a second , we ordered : fries with eggplants was good , Stuffed Falafel was average , Alexandrian Foul below average , labna with zaätar was good , eggs and basterma that was below average .. Service was average and at our table was olive oil bottle that was rotted and we asked for replacement, it’s overpriced for all of these .. May be we weren’t lucky with our meal so go on and give it a try may be you’ll be luckier..

For the second time Tabali exceeds my expectations 😊❤️ , i had a huge order from Tabali Tivoli Plaza in nasr city as i have a special occasion involves foreigners and i wanted them to have an oriental breakfast experience and they made me proud starting with the very helpful decent staff (ms. Afaf ❤️), the neat presentable packaging and the impeccable delivery time by the super helpful delivery agent ( haitham ) . Thanks a lot for the amazing experience 😊😍

Egyptian breakfast restaurant. Love this place. So do the locals it seems because you actually have to wait for a table. Most of it is patio seating which is great during the pandemic. The service is lightening fast when considering the shear number of people there. And the food is fantastic. The bread by itself is so good but the foul (Fava beans) and fried eggplant are amazing. Not my last trip there!

Good place for breakfast. They have a good outdoor sitting area decorated with trees and flowers. The food was tasty. We tried Alexandrian fool, fool with fried eggs, mashed potatoes, and spicy potatoes. They were all good and tasty. The bread was fresh and hot as well. The service is quick and professional. They also have a wide variety of hot and cold drinks. Overall experience was so good!
