The service on the day we went was not attentive. It took too long for them to respond to simple requests. Like can I have chopsticks had to ask 3 times & wait 15 minutes. The drinks never showed up until after we asked for the bill. Although we reminded them 4 times & at the end requested the drinks be cancelled since we finished the whole meal without them. When the bill arrived the drinks were included & they brought them out after we paid. The manager then cancelled them but after a whole argument with the waiter that we had to take them even though it was too late & we asked about them during the meal 4 times. We even asked to change the drink order if it meant we will get them sooner. They kept reassuring us just 1 minute it will be there. Some waiters were no help with the menu & could not describe a menu item or a sauce choice. The food was ok. The meat dish was the best. The fried crispy chicken was cut very thin & fried to dry not just crispy. The calamari was tough & chewy. The fried wonton dough was too thick & too soft not crispy
This is the only branch i tried of this restaurant & hoping these issues are only related to...
Read morewasn't my best expreince but i'll come back and try new things. For main dishes : we ordered beef teriyaki ( which was the best thing we tried 10/10) i'm not very fond of eating meat in restaurants because it tastes weird like its not clean but this beef was amazing not because the taste of the sauce but the meat itself tastes so good and its not hard to chew we also ordered kun pao chicken was not bad but wouldn't order it again sauce was delicious and spicy but i didn't like the taste of the chicken itself for starters we ordered wuntons (half steamed half fried ) the waiter was SO NICE that when he saw that we couldn't make up our minds he offered to make half steamed and half fried , the wuntons both taste amazing will definitely ordered it again For sides we ordered fried rice with veggies didn't like it maybe because i hate peas but i'll maybe give it another try later also we ordered noodles with veggies which was so good and garlicky. OVERALL i'll come back and try new things because the waiters was so nice and place itself was so cozy and...
Read moreI’ve been going to Peking for over 20 years, in the Nasr city branch before it closed then Down Town New Cairo branch for many years now. This was by far the worst time ever ( which never happened). We were a group of 6 and 2 of my friends hadn’t tried it before. The embarrassment I was in was great! The noodles were dry, vegetables in it were not a lot and chopped terribly by hand, the eye eats before the mouth. The sweet& sour chicken was so soggy, we actually left it. The fried rice with shrimp and the other with vegetables were A FLAVORLESS disaster!!!A simple fried rice, they could not make. The sizzling chicken portion was much smaller than it ever came. Why is the restaurant becoming terrible like this?? We’ve enjoyed your food for many many years please dont make us boycott you. I hope the owner Mr. Haniye, the decent man sees this review or anyone responsible! The only good thing on that day was the shandong , spring rolls and beef bbq. New staff here is not as friendly as well. Old staff was better. Such a...
