Discovering this local gem in the heart of Aswan was a breeze thanks to clear map directions. Nestled in the charming old Aswan market, the restaurant might not be fancy, but it exudes a warm and welcoming vibe.

Our experience was elevated by Nasra, a delightful young lady, whose hospitality was truly outstanding. She greeted us with infectious smiles and proved exceptionally helpful throughout our visit.

The restaurant's humble and clean atmosphere set the stage for a delightful meal. The food, with its fantastic taste, exceeded our expectations. What's even better is that the prices were incredibly reasonable, offering great value for both flavor and portion sizes. This place was amazing, and I can only recommend it. The staff was outstanding, and really went out of their way to ensure a good dine-in experience. It is a modest, clean restaurant where the staff respects your space and makes you feel comfortable.

Prices are fixed and publicly announced at the door, with a dual English-Arabic menu and no extras or percentages to be added later.

The food was great - fresh and tasty at a reasonable price tag. Family-owned and centrally located, their menus come with a salad, a tahine and a fried rice side dish. They also offered us a complimentary fresh vegetable dish.

They ran out to get change when we paid our bill, not trying to haggle or trick us with the change. We really felt at ease here - a must-try...

My husband and I came last October during our stay in Aswan. The restaurant is very clean and relatively small. I ordered the small grilled tilapia (which was actually quite large). They grilled it right on the spot. The seasoning was amazing and it came with some delicious sides of beans, salad, eggplant dip, rice and bread. Everything was incredible! And I remember the price was very affordable for lunch in the area. My only regret was that I didn’t get any pictures because it was that good that we ate it before we could take any pictures.
